"Storm the Block" task was not completing for me.. all enemy were killed in the building (but not the SpecOps base).. the two dudes I assume were the brothers just stood there. Went back and killed the guy that ratted on me, and that ended the mission.

One more comment - I suggest adding map markers, especially for the player's starting position. Map markers would be nice as well for objectives. I suppose you don't want all of them to be displayed at the start, so there's a way to do it, check latest posts on the dev branch thread on the BI forums (at least one of those made by Varanon).

Se'Kara, there is a placement method that is not affected by changing IDs. Look it up in the BIF. A post opened by RTEK if memory serves, I'll try to find the link later.

Yeah - the update bunched all the inhabitants of the building in a single spot, so any hit kills everyone.
If you replay, it's sorted now - updated it today.

Just completed it. While attacking the building it suddenly said all CSAT forces has been eliminated and the mission ended - "Bitter sweet victory". Another great mission! Thanks!

I've been in 2 minds on the auto save thing, but a lot of people are requesting it, so I think I'll implement them. I have unlimited saves on in the options, but I know other people prefer not to.

While part 1 didn't really impress me, this scenario is actually pretty good and challenging. By challenging I mean god damn hard but I still quite enjoyed it. I love some of the dialogs and ideas you've managed to get working. The only thing I would welcome are autosaves. Also, that bag with explosives on the ground looks weird. Placing it in some kind of a shack or something would make much more authentic impression.

No, at the gas station. It was wounded pretty bad, but my Repair specialist repaired from condition RED to YELLOW.

Andros flew helicopters in the AAF in the 2020's - a theme I'm exploring in my latest series of missions. The explosives lying on the ground are from the demolition work going on in the surrounding buildings. I guess I could have Andros recruit the demo expert at the building site instead, but I find the ai placement a bit haphazard. Was it the armour from the convoy you repaired? I had intended to lock that...

I would suggest to have one of your AI units as the explosives specialist and have him, commanded by player to place the sachels. Does not make much sense to have a backpack lying around on the ground with explosives.

Worked like a dream! Great stuff. I'll recommend your campaign to anyone who will listen, and rest assured there will be loads of people who play and enjoy your missions but don't comment, so i'm sure you are adding to the sum of human happiness, which is more than most do. You should be proud!

The UAV was something of an experiment really. I tend to run it south until the trigger pops, then park it stationary above the village entrance so you can see the approaching vehicles on the map. A later mission does actually use it to designate targets.

I'll take a look at the trigger. It should activate when the UAV gets past the task marker. A new mission should then pop up to find explosives.

Hello, mission 1 was excellent, lots of fun. I have a problem with 2 though. I cant get past the 'take a look at the column with the UAV' stage, ive had a good look at them, but i can't clear the objective. It wont let me lock on and lasing the targets has no effect. am i doing something stupid??
