If I use this Mod, will I basically find every item skin in the game (visually) on my normal playthrough? I get that the statistical variance means there's basically an indefinite number of variant forms of the same item I can find-- but I'm still finding the same item with different stats... are there any items I won't find until I'm at end game? Or does this Mod basically make it so that I've encountered nearly every item in the game on my first playthrough and the end game becomes basically a quest to increase my stats? Thanks!

I keep trying to add this Mod to my list of addons but it wont upload for some reason.I subscribe successfully butt everytime i launch there after it says download timed out and the addon does not apear in the addons for TL2 folder. All my other mods r working just fine. Is there something im missing? I am fairly new to this and if anyone could offer some insight it would be greatly apreciated

Published v.4

- Updated to LAO 2.0 v.23 of content, minus Wayback's affix expansions

- Includes my new affix changes and 2 hand weapon balances

- Changed drop rates on a lot of the spell scrolls. Most are never seen, so they should drop with a bit more frequency and variety.

- Increased the Portal and Identify spell scrolls to slightly higher then other spells. I have never found one of these with around a 300 hours played. Hopefully they will drop with more frequency now.

any chance of update ?

Technically you could use both mods. What ever mod loaded first would take preference to the changes made to vanilla items. But all the other new items have different ID numbers, so you could have LAO 1.2 items and LAO 2.0 items. I have never tried this. I would load LAO 2.0 first and LAO 1.2 second if it was me. I don't forsee any major issues with this.

Does having 2.0 also cause problems with 1.1 or is it only 1.2 O.o?

Is it possible for you to re-enable class restrictions on equipment?
Deitri 10 Nov, 2013 @ 3:31pm
Hmm, I made a backup of my other characters to test and I did lost items I had before LAO.
Can you check that?
RnF  [author] 9 Nov, 2013 @ 2:15pm
You will lose all LAO items if you disable the mod. There are thousands of new items that LAO adds. Turning off the mod, turns off the items. This isn't just a drop increase mod.

No worries about the irony, it's hard to offend me. I do feel your pain about losing items. It was my biggest fear when creating version 2.0, accidental item deletions. In the future, I would back up your saves when you decide to make major changes to mods to make sure you can go back if you don't like the changes.

I tried to change from the full 2.0 version to this one. But whatever, atleast I didn't lost the items on my main character. And sorry for the irony on the other post.

But, if in the future I decide to stop using LAO, is it possible to maintain the items? Because I noticed that even the items I had before LAO were removed from my character.

Added mod description
RnF  [author] 9 Nov, 2013 @ 9:12am
Deitri, if you were upgrading from v1.2, that is what will happen. The mod was rebuilt from the ground up and so every item now has a new id number. So when installing v2.0 and deleting 1.2 it will also delete your items. I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.
Deitri 9 Nov, 2013 @ 8:02am
Well, tried to use this and lost all my items...even deleting the old LAO & etc, and still lost my items. Good job.

Nevermind, I have played a little without LAO, and the affixes i was stating were coming from Synergies.

Thank you RnF!

That is from the effects on items and random affixes stacking on the LAO items, not part of Waybacks affix mod. If certain affixes are OP, report them and we will try to get them fixed.

It's this one : https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=148400540
Makes the game a bit too OP imo

Though, with this light version, my armor still have incredibly high bonus to physical armor, and some OP attributes like +25% to Melee Weapon Damage ; but i don't see anymore some attiributes like 30% chance to cast Treasure Hunt on kill. So i guess some have been deleted while some others remain
