the species spawn for all preset species of "sci-fi multiverse species" is set to "always". that's why preset species are always spawning that you haven't changed personally. so you can't only play with e.g. Warhammer40K or Star Wars species. All sci-fi species are always randomly brought into your game. If you want to change this you have to go to the mod folder of this mod. For me it is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\1913969998\
now go into the folder "prescripted_countries".
go into each text file and changes the value in all species:
spawn_enabled=always
to
spawn_enabled=no
and then save the .txt file.
You can then play your customized and forced to launch species without preset species spawning.
However, you must select these custom species in Stellaris in order for them to spawn.

- Leviathans Story Pack: 7 errors
- Lithoids Species Pack: 6 errors

I've included the number of errors so anyone reading this can have an idea of what DLC are more likely to unlock the higher number of playable empires.

I believe this would bring your mod to the next level for players like myself, who prefer smaller galaxies so we can play a Star Wars- or Dune-only game for example, since small galaxies have only 6 empire spawns by default and with 200 overall it would make the chance of seeing my favorite universes relatively small in any given game.
Thank you so much for this mod, I have finally been getting back into Stellaris and was SO HAPPY to see someone has put the work to make all my favorite universes a reality for the game already! Every single thing I was looking for in the Workshop is already here, thank you so much!
