Should be fine as long as long as LWotC doesn't adjust the Purifier Breakthrough

LWOTC?
SgtoPereira>>> 30. dec. 2021 kl. 12:08
Hi. Is it LWOTC compatible? Thanks.

Preliminary glance .. it should be fine. Reinforced Underlay is a very special "breakthrough" you get from doing the Purifier Autopsy and applies it's own bonus to any "defence" utility items.

Armour Breakthroughs are the standard per-tier breakthroughs you get for normal armour (Light [Kevlar/Predator/Warden], Medium [Spider, Wraith], Heavy [Exo, WAR]), so they affect a different aspect of the game.

((Categories may be misleading as I can't recall 100% what is in each one, but it gets my point across))

:)

How does this other older mod interact with Reinforced Underlay Plus?

Hmm, an interesting concept. I will consider it.

Could you make a similar mod to this one that alters the breakthroughs for standard armors?
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2021 kl. 0:59
It's a weird 'breakthrough' as it is done by the Purifier Autopsy, not it's own research tech.
so "givetech AutopsyAdventPurifier" should have you get this too

any idea what's the console command for adding the reinforced underlay breakthrough? can't find it anywhere online

yes

will this work with BETA XCOM2 Community Highlander??
Sgt. Hobo 18. maj 2020 kl. 15:18
Alright, nice. i thought it would conflict somewhere. will give it a go. Thx for the reply.
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 18. maj 2020 kl. 13:31
It should work fine with Iridars Defensive Item Overhaul (I use both myself and haven't seen any unusual behaviour yet), you still get an extra shield/ablative HP for doing the autopsy added to all defense items, and the passive icon still works okay :)
Sgt. Hobo 18. maj 2020 kl. 10:37
I guess this wont pair well with iridars new defensive items overhaul.

thanks. i was searching and unable to find if it was a mod or a removed feature. in xcom ew there was something like this and is very useful.

The little box info is a pop-up that appears automatically if you hover your mouse over the icons in the lower left corner. For this particular mod it is the 'green-vest' icon. :)
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 13. dec. 2019 kl. 17:29
The big black box info screen? That is enabled by this mod here;

Then just push 'F1' whilst not targeting anything :)
@R+5 13. dec. 2019 kl. 17:26
I know this may be a silly question, but how do i open the soldier "extended information screen"? ie 6th screenshot from left to right.
Shark 13. dec. 2019 kl. 5:58
Oh my god! Hey, dude. You know what?

I always forget what i done. That tactical icon is very very useful

Thank you :steamhappy:

Well yes, that is completely unrelated to this mod and what this mod does, so I don't understand why you commented it here .......

.... however the config files for the 'Proving Ground Overhaul' or 'Buildable <insert item here>' mods might have costs and supply values exposed to their config files. You would have to check those mods directly.

Have fun, happy gaming :)
yes_commander 12. dec. 2019 kl. 22:04
Yeah, I realized what I brought up is outside the scope of this mod. My bad for thinking out loud. I use mods to actually build the random proving ground stuff in engineering once I have the appropriate autopsies done, and nanoscale vests were 60 supplies by default, but the better vests were often half that price and it bugged me. I didn't realize how to alter costs until I spoke up here, but I think I have it handled now. Should be a better cost-to-defense progression.
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 12. dec. 2019 kl. 21:52
I still don't get what 'costs' you are making reference to?
This adjusts what the Purifier Autopsy Reinforced Underlay Breakthrough gives you.
The only 'supply cost' is completing the autopsy?
yes_commander 12. dec. 2019 kl. 21:49
I may have spoken too soon, and I may have just found out how to apply costs via one of the other mods I use. Gotta try something here...
RustyDios  [ophavsmand] 12. dec. 2019 kl. 21:14
Exposed supply costs? In what way, Reinforced Underlay has always been given after the Purifier Autopsy for free ?
yes_commander 12. dec. 2019 kl. 21:10
I do kind of wish this exposed supply costs though.
Nekavandre 12. dec. 2019 kl. 20:38
Thank you! Thank you!
yes_commander 12. dec. 2019 kl. 16:42
AWESOME. I change all the armor to only add shielding, and this will allow me to balance more stuff. Mods like this make me a very happy commander.
