Not working with 1.5 for me. Prevents the majority of settlements from spawning when generating the world map.

Works in 1.5, its just rendering MOD, it wont be affected my version of game :)

For those wondering, from what I can tell it still works in 1.5, aka temp forest is actually a forest not a wasteland with a few trees lol

Is this mod too OP? Because with increased natural plants growth rate, you will have much more free nutrition to support many more both pen and zoned animals.

But I ll certainly have a try when playing with alot of animals with bottomless pits stomach like elephant

Loving this mod, just don't load it together with regrowth as it will override the tree kinds (temperate won't have any pines that are added by regrowth, dunno about the other biomes) + regrowth kinda does the same thing on its own. But I always use this when I don't play with Regrowth.

Any news on the remake?

I loved the rainforest with this, such a unique experience, these days I'm using regrowth core which does pretty much the same and more, but I'm still subbed to this incase regrowth core ever breaks.

Disabling Biome Transitions solves the river position problem, but the coast problem is still present.

I'm currently working on a full remake of the mod, and it will indeed include the functionallities you mentioned as settings, along with some others. It is almost ready, but since I want to remake this workshop page too I can't tell exactly how long will it be until I'll be able to release it.

I have 2 suggestions:

1. ability to controll how fast/ slow the vegitation encroaches
2. ability to do it biome-dependent in the configs, so you could tell the mod to keep swamps "default", but someone could hyper-charge it if they wanted!

In 1.2, I find that this breaks the Tropi[CKAPP] Rainforest mod, no matter which of the two I load first. Just fyi, for anyone else who tries to use them together.

I've been looking everywhere for this mod, since my last one was no longer being updated. Just in time too, I just had a voluntary Fallout with a Heat Wave and a Drought (from expanded events) so my map has like 3 trees and that's it.

just started a new colony with this enabled, immediately got a flash storm and a forest fire destroyed everything I built, then got a heat wave where all my colonists were downed and died. good mod 10/10 lmao

@Tump Drump I was investigating it... It doesn't have any issues or conflicts, only if you load them wrongly. Just load GreenRim above Vanilla Plants Expanded in the mods list and everything should be fine!

@IDK WOR DOIN LOL GreenRim only increases vanilla vegetation, making them cover almost the entire map, what means that if you use modded ones they won't show up.

Just so people know, this mod seems to have major incompatibilities between itself and Map Designer. Mountains simply do not spawn properly. After disabling this mod maps spawned properly.

So today I played in a tropical forest for the first time and I thought "huh. I think tynan's never actually seen a tropical forest. How come I can see the floor?" I hope this mod makes forests a bit more believable

I don't know if there's anything you can do about this, but this mod isn't compatible with RimCuisine (a pretty popular agriculture overhaul mod). That mod introduces a ton of crops that are available depending on what biome you're in, and your mod makes it so all of the biome-specific crops (which is most of them) never show up.

It is not supposed to happen due to GreenRim, it does not change any default value related to fertile lands at map generation.

Ive instaled this mod and saw (both in a running game and in a new game) that the area of fertile lands is increased (about 50% of my temperate Forest map is now fertile), is this intended or just the time of the vegatation growth should be faster?
