After going to Xen and starting the three-part vine puzzle, one of the routes requires that the player drop down into a pit to see a bullsquid shooting at an HEV headcrab zombie. Consistently, regardless of which order I complete the puzzles, the second the bullsquid spit connects with the HEV zombie, my game crashes to desktop. Removing this mod allowed the game to continue normally. I had no issues from it before, and I put it back after the next map transition and haven't had any issues since.
I am using a zombie animation mod. Unclear whether it's PEP not playing nice with the game or with the zombie mod, but I'll be letting them know about this issue as well.
Otherwise, fantastic work! :D
In that version of the game they're using stock retextured HL2 explosion effect, which wasn't made using .pcf particle system.
custom foldier won't also fix it
