Oh man, the drug mule start is brutal but so damn rewarding. Especially in my modlist where hash and grog have their prices swapped, and I've got a little over half dozen different creature mods (both organic and robotic) that roam the areas you start in. 10/10

Hey thanks for the positive feedback! I am still on and off with Kenshi but unfortunately life got in the way of being able to finish the mod. I fully intend to go back to it someday soon, but can't say when. In the mean time the starts all seem to work, though I've noticed that the Okran's Bindings don't work correctly so if you want to do the order of the cleansing flame pick up the player slavery mod. The Scorched is no longer race limiting to scorchlanders only and you'll get double the characters in Survivors of the Bast Massacre.

If anyone wants to use the stories to make an updated version of the mod just let me know and give me the associated credit!

I know this is 3 years later, but are you still interested in Kenshi at all? Kinda hoping that maybe you are still into this game and coming up with more starts. These sound SUPER good and I can't wait to try them! Also, pretty awesome that these don't like list 'super OP stats' or 'cheaty' crap, would love it if more start mods had that, but also, these kind of great ideas! If the Author isn't around anymore, anyone here know of other good start mods like this one?

Great mod. Maybe my favorite so far. i know it is simple, but I love the thoguht put into it and the backstories.

One qq though. Where am I supposed to be able to build the slave shackles? Are they just for RP? I see your note about the HN ignoring undesirables in my party with +100, is that the real goal?

Yeah that one's gonna require the most playtesting on my part but in theory being at +100 with the HN to start they should ignore any of those restrictions. Full disclosure, I always kill the HN first in my games but with +100 they'll ignore Cat-Lon in your party if you walk into blister hill, just not sure if they'll do the same for your outpost!

This actually seems cool, I like the idea of the Holy Order, I tried to do that with just women, and I found out soon enough the holy nation will just destroy your outpost if you don't have men, lol
