The game freezes when i'm about to fire the gun for some reason.

Yes, you move anything and add anything including adding 30 tanks & 10 helicopters or change all the buildings into a tiny house in the editor. Besides i made this with the editor

@Hotblizz meanwhile, Big ass map was originally intented for C & C Generals RTS kind of gameplay.....Nukes, airstrike, paratroopers, training units, capture resources, and etc. till my PC have problems running it. It was to be named something else......due to it being incomplete therefore BIG ASS MAP.

@Hotblizz It seem i may move more towards FPS feeling of the game, I'm making a mission pack mod featuring Fly-by, Drive-by, and FPS/TPS with heavily scripted gameplay & cutscenes. Uprising is done but it's more tailored to FPS/TPS with cutscene gameplay. I might add the cheat mod if i have time, but i can't promise you because there tons of mission to add-in the mod.

I will update this mod after finish adding new missions. I have no job now so i'm pretty free....so i'm back working on this mod, there will be more mission and hand picked music. Big ass map will not get any mission because my PC is not up for the task anymore. Stay tuned.

Can you try to get the person who made the cheat mod Make this map have cheats? It'd be fun to spam Tanks and other units on this map. ( I have a High end computer so it'd handle it, but for potato computer users, rip. )

Yes, the triggers need alot of thoughts to put into it....so the traffic don't crash often, spawn pedestrian only when player is in the area, spawn army check point after certain number of people are killed, and spawn an allied "fight back" zone after certain heat. Originally, this was supposed to be a map with mission like GTA or something.....shooting, small cut scene like my another map (The Skybase (Night Map)), car chase (Scripted, because the ai can't chase for real)....and etc. But it just keep bugging out... therefore the downgrade to survival mode.The Skybase (Night Map)

This is easily one of the best maps I'll always use and damn look at those triggers so freaking complex, is this a basic level? I feel like an idiot caveman who only knew waves and simple stuffs. This map is so awesome! Too bad resident evil mod isn't working anymore or else heh.

@bitgamer Thank you so much, for letting me know about this.

Apparently, the materials file for that map is missing. The quick fix would be to just copy and paste a material file from the identical maps to that map.

A complementary mini-mission will be put along with the fix.

this is excellent map .. in f2 mod ground texture is ok but when u load in f3 mod ground texture is missing ... by the way fantastic work

The basic code is there, so it is definitely possible.

After all, the triggers are made such that it is modular, and is expandable to any area desired.

@DrachenKaiser Xherdos It's not a full blown mission, more like a free roam simulation with law enforcement.

The mission can be accessed, by going to the mission tab (F3), if you do have it.

The directory of the map of which the mission will be in is:
single/04_modded_custom/dd - city of lights white max <-----

Just click on "free roam simulator mk2", wait for the whole thing to load and then click 'START' on the top left hand side of the screen.

If it now says 'FINISH' instead, you have activated it. (Just press it once you are done playing.)

After activating the mission, there will be four options, in the menu at the right hand side:
-CHAOS MODE (Continuous enemy attacks, incremental, the is FUGITIVE SYSTEM rushed to MAX)
-STORY MODE (unavailable)
-FRS (Free Roam Simulator, recommended if you want to see the city come alive.)
-Sandbox? I think?

@Almighty Did it work out for you? Once you master the map editor you can mess with the main missions like adding more allied army or enemy army to your liking.

F6 - Environment presets (It will make the game render the scene/map in with it's special properties like time of day and skybox type.)
F9 - Complicated stuff, that includes diplomacy, whereby you can change the relation between your teams, either neutral, ally or enemy.

That's the absolute basics for now If you need more help, I suggest looking up guides and tutorials under the key term, "Gem editor" because that is the type of editor you're on. MOWAS2 and CTA both uses it.

The editor has three modes, corresponding to each of their keys:
F1 - Play Mode (For testing, etc.)
F2 - Map editor (For building and spawning AI, press the numpad numbers to change the team you have.
Depending on it's paid or not, you may have access, to the more complex and in-depth Mission editor, F3, which allows for a series of special events happen to your will. But you will need a bit of knowledge on programming to fully use it, so I recommend seeing some tutorials.

In either F2 or F3, you will be defaulted to the entity spawn menu, to switch types just press 1,2,3, etc. But spawning enemies and allies is fun, so why move out of it?
Exploring is a good thing though.

So Im new to the editor thing and have no clue what im doing. how do i get the map to the state in which it is ready to play. im not having any luck with it. thanks
