GR4KK, thank you for the constructive feedback. I have other dockable modules in mind, but I haven't gotten to them yet. But there will definately be a garden module, medical/hospital module, construction module, garage module etc. It will all tie in with a larger capital vessel that I'm working on. So keep an eye out for any updates. Thank you once again.

This is an excellent build and thank you for sharing it. I love the Industrial look and the fact that you have combined it with the CM-XL6 to enable cargo and docking is brilliant. Looks the part and is actually very unique within the workshop. Only issue is the oxygen suppy in both the utility and the main ship. I had to install ventilators in both to allow oxygen suppy. However a very minor point in something which I can honestly say is now a firm favourite in ship design. I would encourage you to build more in this theme and perhaps consider the ability to allow a small HV to be housed in the rear section. I love the two part ramp system in the rear utility that docks with the main ship but unfortunatly I cannt get anything driven up there without modification. I would love to see you make additional ships as part of a theme based on your design with the Kith' saa. Well done. I love it.

Well i spent about 30 minutes wandering around the cargo module looking for the cockpit, mostly because i was having a sneeze attack and therefore missing the signs. After i found it and saw the lcd screen with the instructions i managed to figure it out.

You can either dock the miner to the cargo module, that does however mean that the cargo module becomes the master and the miner the slave in this instance. Or you can dock the cargo module to the miner and tow the cargo module that way. This makes it very slow towing, especially with a full load. So ideally i would dock the miner to the cargo module and pilot it the whole thing in 3rd person view from the bridge on the cargo module.

This was just a proof of concept. The docking mechanisms in this game leave a bit to be desired. I would love to aee a merge block kind of deal where bridge systems can be linked/merged and you pilot from wherever you want. But eh..

Nostro, the only restrictions I can think of would be that the server your playing on isn't allowing you to spawn in the ship. There are no illegal blocks or anything in the red for me. Try spawning in a single player of your own. If you can do that, the in all likelihood it's your server that has limitations. I hope that helps.

Nostro, I'm pretty sure the only reason would be that the server you are on isn't on the Experimental branch. No illegal blocks are used. But thank you for reporting the issue. I will consider this when building and releasing in the future.

Nostro, thank you. I couldn't say why it won't spawn or are in red. But apparently another build of mine has the same issue. The only reason I can think of is that I'm using the Experimental branch when I'm building.

Ah the resource gatherer from Homeworld :) , nicely done . for some reason i can't spawn it on dedicated servers , showed red in list , any clue why ?

The signal in the two down thrusters regular M is "Mining Mode" instead of MMS.

I like this build. I was able to... for the first time... harvest some asteroids. For now this will serve as my CV in Survival. I did some mods to serve my game style, but all around it's quite a great BP!

Jägermaster - thank you very much. I recommend picking things apart and study shapes by your favourite builders, then try and "copy" elements of what you wish to achieve. You're doing so well already, just keep it up. :) Or.. for instance, you see inspiration in Sci-Fi materials etc, try and re-create the shapes you see within EGS's boundaries, you'll be amazed at how quickly you can grasp things once you tinker a bit on your own.

Artisaema, thank you again. Docking is a bit tricky, so I try to implement holograms as guide to allow for "easy" alignment of the ships and when docking. Hopefully in the future, this feature will be improved upon within the game.
