btw just a note about balance with this mod: You divided the food cost across the number of days the decision lasts, but didn't take into account the value a resource has when it's still available to you for more time. Only spending 9 food at a time leaves you with a big stockpile you would not have if you have to drop 1000 all at once, and that stockpile can be used for other things.

If you wanted to preserve balance better, you should tweak the cost to be a bit higher to account for this. It's the same logic to how loans and interest work.

Okay.

@Peter34 Lithoids and Machines don't get any of the growth decisions that organics get. So it not appearing as a Lithoid empire, even if you have organic pops in your empire, is how the game was designed and is intended.

It's not showing for me. There's no Encourage Growth Decision in the menu. But how is it supposed to work? In vanilla? This is my first time playing a Lithoid empire, and I'm using this mod.

@Peter34 Is it just not showing up for you or are you running into a problem? Lithoid and Robot empires don't have this decision available to enact.

Can you update this mod for Lithoids, please?

Yeah, but then you had to manually take into account that in order to continuously do that every ten years, you needed 8.33 food per month per planet. Not sure why they chose to put most of these decisions on finite terms as you would likely want it all the time. It is much simpler to plan monthly than it is to plan ten years from now XD

My least bad solution, prior to using your mod, was to always re-do the Food Expenditures on all my planets simultaneously, so I wouldn't have to keep track of it. However, with a 10 year duration, that often didn't fit in with new colonies, and so I'd get slower growth than otherwise especially in the early game.

Thanks for the input! That is the primary reason I made the mod as I was spending an incredibly huge amount of time keeping those edicts running, especially on huge empires. I've tested this mod on at least 3 games and haven't had any issues.

It's such an incredible relief to use this mod. I wish I didn't have to, but the Stellaris UI won't notify me when Encourage Growth needs to be renewed and that's a serious source of stress, needing to be vigilant about it. This mod solves that problem.

Thanks for making this mod. I'll test it.
