I play on the new version, I don't understand why you can't fly, for example, the mi 24 can be used as a transport vehicle

I played a while ago, maybe like version 44 or 45. I remember one of the custom police presets made them spawn with G36C's could one of y'all help me and tell me which mode/preset that is.

Are there any plans in the future to bring something like out of country support for the rebellion which is inline with reality? I.e, NATO doesn't want to fight the AAF but will supply the rebellion based on actions the player makes. Also, the ability to "build" a vehicle with a gun on the back? I.e, taking a truck, a big gun, converting it. Right now, it seems to be taking the enemy's own guns and resources and turning it against them but there is a whole other side to it which should open up some organic sandbox of what side a player may appease to get support.

I've searched up and down the entire universe for the mod that lets me choose the altis police department as my police and it just does not exist. Can someone help?

This is hands down the best scenario I have ever played in Arma 3. Very very memorable moments and what I can only describe as realistic at parts. I dove in, not knowing what the expect and to see the initial town just explode into organic action, that was incredible. Taking my first town was awesome as well. The attack reaction though was absolutely priceless! They rolled in hot and took out everyone that I had which made me realise that we were missing some mines and other fun stuff to take out the enemy armour. The enemy AI sure is something else on this.

Also I can not believe how good this scenario runs compared to others. Its constantly good frames, good optimisation. Well done!!

I had a good laugh at the driver of the APC joyriding around the countryside and the poor guy trying to get back in. Everytime the driver would stop and wait, just before the guy got in, he legged it again haha.

Have been thoroughly testing and debugging this - one thing I haven't been able to work out....can construction resources be moved to another base once placed in an arsenal?

Example a base needs to be dismantled and moved - would the resources need to be farmed from the beggining?

Yeah someone has reported once that he was able to join enemy side. And indeed if you join enemy side (green), you can control all the army of enemy forces through the map UI. Are you sure you didn't join one of the green slots?

I played around a little with the mods Real Engine, CF_BAI and LAMBS_Danger, which is a great combination on scenarios that don't modify AI extensively. I collected some ressources and created my first camp. Then I went to a town to incite some other guys. From the point where this town's status changed, thing went odd: Suddenly some civilians started firing at me, while others joined my group. So they shot each other I had an alarm of enemy infantry coming in. So I ordered a few of these units on map to come by and support me. but some military units arrived, and when I shot the first one down, they yelled at me to stop firing .And that was the point where I realized I was in command of the entire military on the map. I was able to take entire groups under my command. Well, and then I found myself fighting against civilians backed by the military, that I commanded. lol.
If that's not a bug, it must be a mod conflict between those mods I mentioned. But it was funny indeed.

Stupid question to ask, since I don't know your opinion on Submodding but I'm reading through the code and have found reference to files that... do not exist that seem to be related to the factions (I'm wanting to do a custom faction submod) so if you could please comment just the location of the factions folder I'd happily get my mod made

It's not coming any time soon, but you can check our dev branch (it's on steam as well) and it's getting regular updates. Main reason why we don't want to update this one is because saves will not work any more with the new version.

It appears like a problem with a script, the UI does not initalize I can only see the menu were you can start a new game, but the buttons do not work, i can close it, but cant reopen and I cant even call the ingame menu, other screen elements are not initalized as well. So it is something with the map, not the faction. GM factions work without issues on other maps.

I've recently did some changes in dev branch which accelerates campaign loading and generation by a factor of 7 or so, depending on how many trees there are on the map. I guess it will help that case too.

Maintaining factions is a PITA. We've had similar problem with some WW2 faction too which would freeze the game for no reason. Does it freeze the game when you just try to play on that map with any other faction or when you try to use GM faction on any other map?

Having almost the same issue as ZEroCrack wrote before, somehow Weferlingen with GM units is not working, it just freezes and i can just crash the game. Vanilla (almost) works just fine.

Another question, does welferlingen work, according to your list it shoud? I enabled GM alongside CBE, ACE and vindicta, but after the loading screen save screen pops up i cant click anything, can close save screen but cant call game menu etc only alt + f4.
