Ok thanks, I understand it. But i feel that there are too much zombis number for my ArmA basic soldier experience. So it isnt possible shodows from them and they can entry within building from doors and walls. I dont know if i will try to play this mission, sorry. But you work is fine. :steamsad:

I actually played it today to see if it's still playable. It is. You just need to explore around. You can check buildings to find boxes that contain ammo, the briefing tab has pictures of the boxes.
Also, go to the police checkpoint and the refugee camp. There's dead soldiers with M16 rifles and you can also find ammo there for the MP5SD that you begin the mission with. There's also an unmarked gun store and a bandit cache you can find, the bandit cache is in a sawmill on the east side of the area and has an M107. Good luck!

lot of stuff like food or other objects are totally unuseful because they don't work.

if I remember right, I added an event handler that triggers when the player fires their weapon, and it'll detect if the player's weapon has a suppressor, or if it's the MP5SD.
if their weapon isn't suppressed or isn't the MP5SD, it tells zombies within about 500 meters of the player to move nearby to investigate. the zombies do have independent tracking as part of Zombies and Demons, but if you follow the sides of the playable area, you can avoid them better.
if you go through the center, you'll end up fighting them because they'll see you.

that all being said, this mission hasn't been touched since 2020, it might be broken in some way. CUP's also changed a lot in 3 years; it's possible that the MP5SD now has a different classname, and the EH doesn't work anymore, or it's possible that Zombies and Demons is just super outdated and doesn't work.
if I have an opportunity to update this mission then I will, but I don't anticipate I'll be able to do that any time soon.

what is the purpose of using a suppressor if the zombies constantly respawn around player and hunt him anyway? There is literally no difference between suppressed and unsuppressed weapon, unless the MP5SD (suppressed internally) is not considered as a quiet gun because it has no suppressor attachment, then the mission is broken by design. More of a chore than a cool experience, unfortunately.

it looks like that error says you're missing a prop in the game, make sure you're running the correct mods required for this mission and ONLY those, and try verifying the game cache through steam

Hi, I would really love to play your mission, but I keep getting this error that says stea/cur_sp_epoch/Mission/mission.spm/Mission/Entities/Item302/Entities/Item9.type : Vehicle class Land_ConcreteHedgehog_01_palette_F no longer exists. Not sure what this means but it is preventing me from playing. Thank you.

you'll need to own the Contact DLC for sure, cause it'll need to load things like map files and et cetera

This scenario was really fun, there was a lot of zombies which made it feel like a real outbreak. It was pretty challenging, but once I got the formula, I barely needed to shoot anything. There's only one problem though, which was that I could overload the generator from pretty far away.

you should have the option to overload it, it should appear as an action when you approach the generator and look at it, make sure you've gotten the keycard in the refugee camp first so the triggers are fired in the right order

it'd need an extensive rewrite for multiplayer support, which isn't totally feasible for me to do at this point in time unfortunately

yea i noticed this now, i got confused because i scanned through the description at the beginning and read something about destroying generators so i assumed the spark on the map at the refugee site was it so i spent ages running around there trying to figure it out but then i found the keycard randomly and it popped up saying i completed the task although i checked earlier and there was apparently no objectives or tasks, had me running a madden but i eventually finished it, not a bad map i just got very VERY confused, would like to see more like this with cooler mechanics and different endings, thanks!

you need to overload the generator at the Containment Site, it's to the right when you enter the dome, and you can unlock the doors by carrying the Red Key Card that you can find in the Refugee Camp (located on a table in one of the cargo box houses)

can you give a specific classname? I haven't been able to replicate any errors, my only advice is make sure you're running the game with the required mods, that would be the only thing I can imagime creates missing content errors

I can't seem to recreate the missing car issue, so my only advice is to load the game with JUST the required mods, make sure they're up-to-date from the Workshop as well.
if the game is missing something then it more than likely has to be an issue with the mods, but that's all I can really say having not seen the error personally. if you have the mods loaded and it still doesn't work, try verifying the game cache.

this mission is awesome. I feel like I missed so much because I was running for my life. down to only one pistol mag with my back to a wall... nothing a couple user saves can't fix lol. great mission. 10/10 would subscribe and has a lot of replayability. Thanks for creating this unique ARMA experience.
