I'm not mod savvy so I'm asking if any of ya'll know if every wep here is properly tagged so it's compat with mods like rpg growth

I feel like this mod isn't getting the recognition it deserves. The sprites are fantastic, and the new weapons like the action rifle, with the spin on each shot, blew my mind. Overall, it seems like a pretty good weapons mod, and it maintains that vanilla aspect that suits the game so well.

I'd love to know what tools you use to create the sprites, the parts for each type of weapon, and how each one fits together just by adjusting the "baseoffsets". I can only edit over existing sprites to create new ones, but I wouldn't know how to make them entirely new because I'm unsure if they'd align correctly just by setting the "baseoffset".

You said this is feature complete but it would be nice to have a item based ammo and clips for weapons that normally take energy, Maybe some energy weapons instead of using ammo could have a cooldown + recharge that doesn't take from peoples main energy pool.

The mod is pretty ok, but there are some problems.
1: It brakes pistols. None of them work. In the erchius crystal mine, all of the workers got a pistol so they were broken.
2 (idc even that much about it): some of the randomized attachments make the weapon just kinda float in the air.
Also, why are revolvers 2 handed?

Any chance of reversing the Grenade Launcher change that made it require both hands? The RPG leveling mod has a specialisation for Rogues that relies on grenade launchers being 1 handed (Cannoneer, which is unlocked by killing enemies while wielding both a short sword and a grenade launcher), and with this mod, the only way to unlock it is to cheat in the 1 handed unique grenade launcher it offers, as there are no 1h grenade launchers that are unique, and even in mods they're all 2h.

Just to alleviate my own curiosity about what happened August of last year with Frackin make compatibility appear, and am deciding to share as to save you a look through their github. 5.6.427 "unless a weapon explicitly supports the ammo system it should no longer apply stats from it, to prevent issues with other mods' weapons. Whatever, though. The new looks are pretty cool, and apparently it works with upgraded upgrades, so I can just upgrade common weapons instead of taking plasma guns. Nice.

Hey so this mod replaces the plasma weapons all the guns turn into later? Nice, I was looking for something like this. I always disliked the look of plasma weapons.

This mod is relatively incompatible with NpcSpawner+
Here's how: whenever you try to give a random generated modded weapon to a custom npc then try to "detach" it, the NpcSpawner window freeze and everything except the close button stop working.

I'll be adressing NpcSpawner's author about this bug too

Hey, I just wanted to stop in and say you are a genius. I thought there was some graphical problem with the rare bullpup rifle I found but then I realized that it was the under barrel grenade that only shows up on weapons that have a grenade launcher. I was tired but it's still super smart. Thanks :)

The reason why it had an incompatibility before was because frackin decided to have EVERY weapon, including those randomly generated, effected by their 'reload' system. That's been changed by the seems of things ( Not sure yet ) thus: Said incompatibility is gone if that's the case / that has been changed to ONLY affect weapons ADDED by Frackin Universe.

I forgot I had this mod, and finally decided to take a crack at Frackin Universe. I haven't noticed if I'm missing anything or if anything is being overridden or otherwise functioning improperly, do you know what the incompatibility problems are? Currently I don't want to uninstall this mod unless I'm missing out on something somehow.

@Pamplemousse Not exactly. There are still guns that fire plasma-like shots. Those guns just received a makeover and a bit of variation on the shots they fire. Though that variation itself is generally cosmetic.

Well I found an uzi looking SMG and when I held it, it was a couple meters in front of my hand like I was using Jedi powers to hold it. Not sure if that's because of an error on the mods end or a compatibility error on my end.

I think you should have stuck with just modifying the guns rather than introducing new sword types. Ever since I installed this I have struggled to find any broadswords. I only find rapiers and longswords and als shortswords.

Can you please alter this somehow? I mostly used broadswords and if I don't use this mod then I find more broadswords from the vanilla game.

@Joker It would take too much time and likely would be much too difficult to maintain considering the fact that FU is constantly updated. It's also worth noting that not everyone uses the mod, and Mae is likely one of those people. If you would like to do that, then you could go and ask them if you want that to be a reality.

The new animation and Parts r working fine good,but a vanilla defect remains,bullets doesnt comes out right from the midline of barrel but under barrel with many barrel parts of many kinds of guns,plz consider fix that.
