I've got a few comments on the balance, so I'll put them in the pinned discussion (plus I hit the character limit), but the long and short of it is that I found this mod to be pretty playable in combination with some other mods. I'm not sure if the mods I've played with (BetterRewards specifically) actually trivialize the difficulty curve or simply make it more enjoyable.
I aim to have a more substantive push for visual clarity in the coming months. Thank you all for your support and your patience!
On the topic of clarity, currently everything works correctly as described by the text, however, I have received comments from a multiple sources that some people are having difficulty understanding certain mechanics, so I am working on creating ways to better convey these to everyone. Some of that I have been fixing already, and others I have good ideas that proper art will address when it is implemented.
I hope to have an update out soon that will address some of the larger gaps in clarity.
Thank you for your support, and I will continue to work on improving balance, clarity, and art assets in the coming time.
Additionally, a good bit of stuff could use some rewording so it's easier for new players to understand. Particularly, the fact that when you have no drowsy, you get half attack and block took a while to understand where the effect was coming from.
Additionally, the first relic says "fall deeper into slumber" but the second one says "gain block for how deep in slumber you are", but when you use the first one, the second one gives less block, not more like "how deep in slumber" would indicate.
All in all, this seems like it'll be a pretty great mod when it's done, and it's pretty good right now!
