I have no clue if this is still being updated, but ACE recently released Electronic Hearing Protection, perhaps this config option could be added to applicable helmets like the opscore 2

@T.Picker the proper fix is to make a preset with the launcher and distribute it to your players.
@jarrad96 what he is talking about is the launcher can not handle servers with more than about 20 mods because of limitations in the steamworks API, which is not fixable - BI has no options here

@Ulfgaar I don't always use earplugs, because I play with few people, so we need every bit of equipment. If you have more than ~45kg equipment, you can't remove earplugs, even if you got room in you backpack/vest.

I want to reupload this in a mod I use for my unit, which contains similar compats/functionality such as Ace-RHS, adv. ropes, and RHS-Niarms, for sake of convenience for the server and members; bypassing the "Server can't transmit all data; list of required mods may not be complete" issue.
Would I be allowed to do so?

That sounds strange tbh, as no matter what additional mod you use alongside ACE, you always have your earplugs. Not using MLO because you have to put on your earplugs, in spite of using a helmet that appears to have earmuffs is weird tbh.

If nothing else, putting on or taking out ACE earplugs can just be thought of as a simulation of you putting on earmuffs/protection - no matter what visuals they have.

This is good. I avoided MLO helmets because they lacked hearing protection with ACE.

I got into contact with them and offered to make it official, so it's easier to find and linked the main collection, but the biggest change is that it's now signed for MP use.

It does nothing unless you have the dependencies on the side, and adds exactly what the description says.
