Survival mode has issues launching if you open it after playing a GC, I think it's something to do with the build filters. Best way to get it working is to close and reopen it to reset the filters.

survival mode doesnt work? i just have ai pathfinding lines submod on
There are known issues with the Duro mission, there was a hotfix being put together last I heard but I don't know if we're actually going to get it at this point.

Hey, first of all - amazing mod that I enjoy so much!

I was hoping you could help me out with an issue - during Operation KnightHammer, I am getting a black screen when loading Siege of Duro and the battle does not load.

Anyone experienced the same? Is there any workaround?

Running FotR and a Heroes Respawn submod

I asked one of the devs on discord the same thing. They said that in order to be part of the Custom Roster options, they need to be buildable roster units. However the AI for all factions always calculates all roster units, both the ones its factions have and the ones your faction has, when assembling fleets, even if those units are locked. Therefore adding all those units to the rosters to make them compatible with Custom Roster would add a lot of lag to the game because the AI has to calculate with bigger rosters.

Nimbus Commandos are starting forces and mission rewards. They are not buildable.

A frustration that I have is why quite a lot of units can not be included in custom scenario unless you use the replace option. It's a very cumbersome thing to do. Why can't all potential units of that faction just be included in the 'addition' option?

They're a side grade, but the side grade is having heavy dual ion cannons instead of heavy dual turbos. Something that can be of use depending on your playstyle and fleet comps. Not necessary for Hutt fleets to function but can be fun to play around with.

question about the refurbished venators the hutts can make out of regular ones. Are the refurbished ones actually any stronger? Or is it ultimately just a sidegrade?

The HVG that the Republic gets is exactly the same as the one in TR. However, ships in FOTR tend to be smaller with less HP or have large number of hardpoints which make HVGs more dangerous than you might be used to.

The planetary weapons in TR were a nuisance requiring a tender to babysit the targeted vessel, but these ...

Are you picking small start or full start? It's possible he isn't in the Era 4 small start roster, but if he's not spawning in full start then something might be wrong.

My game keeps freezing/crashing in a space battle a Sullust (playing order 65 GAR about 144 weeks in, fleet is comprised of Mandator 2 and Captain Antillies) if this isn't the right place to post where can I post the issue?
It's intended. Admin heroes are meant to be slow to move around so you can't easily exploit the benefits you get from them on all planets you own.

For some reason Sate Pestage is extremely slow when moving to another planet in Galactic. Anyway to fix this in the XML files? I looked for the line "Hyperspace_Speed", but couldn't find it.

@valteeka Also you should never save during battles and always use several save files, not just one. I create a new file whenver I save (almost every cycle). Fro mtime to time you need to delete old save files or the newer will not be shown.

@valteeka Avoid saving close to end/start of cycle. I only save in middle. There are other suspected causes for file corruptions you can find if you google but they are much more unlikely.

The "random" shuttles are not temporary. They are original models made by the dev team for the express purpose of landing units during ground battles.

If there's anyone that's likely to get new shuttle models, it's the Hutts.

The C-9979 is too large size wise to be used as a generic lander, whilst the LAAT is too small to carry platoons and companies. Both also have issues when it comes to space.

I imagine all the random shuttles currently in use are just temporary placeholders for now. The ideal would be the c9979 for the seps and the laat variants for the clones. Especially if you could get their animations from episode I and II to look just right.

Had a quick question if I wanted to change the starting income for a faction under one of the large maps for galactic conquest what would need to change in the files Ive tried editing the starting income from 10k but it always seems to default down

I would be surprised if the C9979 gets used as a vehicle lander, considering there's a few missions in the historical campaign where the show up - at scale - and are large enough to be treated as a structure.

a little, minor gripe... seems the laser shots from the B2s are emitted from a floating point in front of them instead of the location their wrist, seems they may need the point the lader comes from offset to the right. Real minor, but its a thing I cant unsee nor unthink of, that my B2s just pose while shots materialize out of thin air in front of them :p :p

The first spawn is random, but subsequent spawns should be consistent. Annoyingly I do not recall the exact time you need to wait, but it should be less time on higher influence.

Does anyone know how often units spawn from the Officer Academy at 10 influence? Its week 28 and i just got one commander even though both my planets have 10 :missing:

More than likely the mod didn't fully download, it's about 20 GB and can fail to download if low on space. Also I'd suggest using the launch option method if you don't already.

Is it possible to make the transport units more realistic?? For example, the AT-TEs are deployed by LAAT/c and not from some large dish, and the clones could also be deployed from LAATs.
