also clients cant see the correct global rewards list? im trying to get this and some other mods to work on a server i play on

seems to crash the part of the mod that keeps track of progress if i put a second block down in the world.

Couple options there. You could modify turrets to require a component only the computer can use, or you could set the fabrication time of the ammo to something fairly long, so it can produce small amounts over time, but using an assembler could be faster.

This is amazing, thanks so much for your work into this! Exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. In the master research tree at the moment, there is no reward for combat research, so I was thinking what would be the appropriate reward for that tech. The nicest solution would be by putting ammunition into the research tree, but it's not ideal to have the computer as the only source of ammo, especially since you don't have to spend resources fabricating it. Did you have any thoughts about how best to handle this?

@Roshag, I'm not sure I understand. This doesn't inherently prevent people from placing blocks. It's up to the users to lock blocks behind custom components. If that component is the first item required to place, then you can't place the block

Also @Michael, It'll use the faction if its owner. Research is tied to the faction - not the computer. If it gets destroyed, you won't lose all your tech. You might lose *progress* towards something if you were mid research, though.

@Michael, it doesn't matter which mod you use, you just need to know the subtype ID of an item. It'll work with every mod.

This is sick! This allows you to specialize factions! As an example, you can have one faction use only MexPex weapons while another only use OKI weapons! AND another Faction might get access to super huge cargo containers for being logistics focused while yet another faction gets access to better refineries and mining tools! IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES! The fact that this plugs and plays with mods so easily is absolutely INSANE. I will be testing this out ASAP.
