@ilikedinonuggets_6: You would lose your ability to enter and exit the submarine while submerged. Also, escape pods need a clear path to float up and away from the submarine. The sub would have to be inverted to accomplish this action. If you want a submarine with an escape pod, check out my sub Phorcys in my workshop. It's currently being reworked, but offers what you are looking for.

@ilikedinonuggets_6: An escape pod would be possible if this was built into the design of the submarine. It is not really feasible now since it would disrupt the balance above and below the waterline to include all functioning submarine systems.

@Cobra: Compressed gas tanks and controls for ballast, dive locker, and sub compartments. A few other changes, like a vent for the fuel tank, filters for fluid types and some equipment changes. Additionally, changed the outside color. Adjusted crush depth controls and a few other bits here and there.

@BigZ: The entry or upper airlock has an automatic bilge pump for water getting in at surface levels. The emergency bilge pump system will pump out additional water, however the upper airlock was not designed for entry and exit while submerged unless you are connected to another creation. Only use dive locker for entry and exit when submerged.

@RedneckGenius: Glad you like it! Crush depth is built into all of my subs for realism since it doesn't actually exist in SW. Each sub is affected differently.

I just wish SW offered a more in depth experience underwater like deeper caverns, more wrecks, refined physics, and a better environment. agreeing with others here, these subs are super functional and awesome. Its hard to find subs with top and bottom dockable airlocks. Most of them are modelled after military subs and have torpedoes and such.. Superb job, look forward to more of your creations

@CATMAN448: You have to use electric motor under water, engine is sucking in water through air intake. Shut off engine using the pumps toggle switch located near the starter button before diving.

why does the sub stall when it goes underwater?
