i only shortened the distance ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
kinda forgot bout updating it - bc priorit for this change was low, considergn it's meant to be seen from as far away as possible
(idealy i'd up the large beacons' range, by A LOT, instead but that is not possible with simple SBC edits)
Overall, awesome mod. The fact that a tiny low cost antenna has the same range as a massive one has always bothered me.

But shifting that around a bit might make a difference for other mods, mind
If he was more available in the comment section i'd ask about doing hybrid mod
i.e. animated antennas release with tweaked ranges etc...
i'd say, as you said yourself, it may be a mod conflict, i'm pretty sure it is
i also double check the WS release online, as opposed to just checking the local, to be sure.
i recon that's what most modders do, idk
i did notice it sadly not working in conjunction with, for example,
KptKosmit91's 'Animated Antennas' vanilla replacement mod, which i like to use myself
(exept for the DLC dish, which currently works with the mod, although i'm sure that'll no longer be the case, if he adds the Dish to his mod as well)

Added DLC Radio Antenna Dish,
buffed to 500km range (same rebalanced laser antenna)
Extras:
• Included Antenna Dish available for small grid (same physical size as large)
• Included Ore Detector buff (150m for small, 500m for large)
slightly adjusted components-requirement and PCU
will be put at about 400-500km, likely
as matter of fact, forgot about addign the DLC dish
because was busy working on the second version of this
Yep, it grows with the square of range after 200km
that's why i didn't put it in the main title of the mod
But all things considered,
with 2x1x1, (only 3x3x3 smallgrid even) in size
and taking into account the comparatively low cost of a laser antenna,
as the small grid antenna requires only '10' superconductors,
as opposed to '100' for large grid
yet still has the same capabilities
that block should not have 'infinite' range - in my opinion
not to mention that laser antennas still are reportedly
causing performance issues in MP games at times
I think it also takes more and more power the further away the antennas are? Not certain on that.
Either way, it's sorta misleading to call it a 'fix' when it's an intentional feature being changed.
