Kharn, the events are working but the dilemmas are not.
Wish I had kept my older version of this, as I never play MP.

From what I've read below this mod is no longer function. Is this correct? Also are there any other dilemmas that are functioning that would involve a High Elves Campaign? Thanks.

PS. Sad to see great mods like this slide into oblivion. I'm just getting back into Total War and wanted to give WH2 TW the full experience prior to checking out WH3 TW.

Anyway, thanks for what you do.

No sadly. I did my best for now but i don't wanto to put much work in these mods. My main concern is to add dilemmas and events to wh3 rn. I'm also working on differe t concepts and system for again wh3

oh glad it is lol. It was honestly a mistake on my end. I never wanted to make that lord 40 lvl. It' just that I work a lot on mods lately and late night updates sometimes do that lol sorry about it again

yeah the dilemmas aren't working for now mate sorry. Will work on those later. need to find a way to make them MP compatible too

Sorry to dog-pile here, but do the dilemmas start at any particular turn? I'm playing an Eataine campaign and I am at turn 72 or so, and none of the dilemmas have triggered. I'm specifically referring to Khemri, Marienburg and Bretonnia, as the description says the massed assault on Ulthuan is at around turn 70. Thanks.

This will naturally stall you out to the point of the turn 10 mark where 3 high elf factions will declare total war on you, and you are either in a weakened state or your army has been totally decimated. I have a campaign where knowing all of this ahead of time, I MAY be able to cheese the absolute crap out of it to win, but it is a brutal way to try and start a new campaign

Not sure if this is from your mod, or just incredibly close. Having a bit of an issue with starting as Ethaine

Turn 5, an event calls out and Cult of Excess spawns a full stack of mean. lots of t3-t4 units
2 Sisters of Slaughter, 3 Witch Elves, Shades with greatswords, cold ones and dread cold ones, chariot, and 2 manticores

what makes it a real almost impossible fight was it spawns with a level 38 lord, and it was a Sorceress the first half dozen times I attempted it

This army is a bit more, than a bit much to handle with just Spearman and Archers, and by turn 5 you just managed to get a full stack army, much less getting any t2 units rolling out yet. I tried stalling to lvl 10, but they are hyper aggressive and will almost always attack

I HAVE beaten this army, as they will try to siege at your base, and with a full stack and garrison you are almost JUST at the auto resolve winning point, with some major damage

Thanks for the update.
I have used this mod before while playing as Avelorn and all of them worked, but that was some time ago (they would all trigger if I was playing as a minor HE faction with Juggernaut'9999s old Faction Pack: HE Unlocked mod, but it does not trigger all of them with his new Megafaction Unlocker mod). I haven't played an Etaine campaign in a very long time.

I'll double check and try to fix the dilemma but other thinbgs are just... campaign isn't balanced at all already I know and AI is just too stupid to do much

This made the campaign significantly more rewarding. This is the type of stuff campaign difficulty should change too.
Event 2. Norscan Invasions: this makes the campaign a little bit easier than normal. It weakens the northern HE, makes it easier to build trade networks, but more importantly it weakens the lizardmen. Soon as you beat up the norscans on ulthuan your relations go up with the HE too easily. It also causes Norsca to ignore ulthuan and start attacking lizardmen locally. That gives you just enough time to take over Caledor or Saphery or whichever province you wish, peace with other factions from event 4. and (is it even possible to prevent event 4? I hope not.), have a second army ready to sail over and take all of hexoatl, which is the richest province in the game.
I never got the turn 70 dilemma playing as Tyrion or it got wiped out by another faction without me noticing.

Does this work if you are starting as Nagarythe, Knights of Caledor or Yvresse? I just did a Nagarythe campaign and the Norscan invasion triggered, but nothing else did. I did not control any territory on Ulthuan when the Norscan invasion happened, but after getting territory on Ulthuan nothing else happened. I was able to get the Asrai intervention to happen though.
With my latest Yvresse campaign, nothing has triggered, even the Asrai intervention.
It has been a while since I did a KoC campaign, so I am not sure if this is an issue for them too. Also, I have not done a Teclis campaign in ages.

so when the cult of excess spawns at the shrine they dont seem to be at war with anyone, so they just sit in raiding stance there. im playing alith anar if that affects it. i presume this isnt intended?

@Flamboyant Schemer61 I restarted the campaign and now it works, had to start over with a fresh campaigne, so if anyone else gets this problem in the future just start a new campaigne.

I have tried a few campaings with this as high elfs really nice, tho on my latest campaign at turn 30 I get a message but no invasion to be seen. Also I can't move any characters on the map is it a bug? Tried to restart with an earlier save yet same promblem

It's very ez actually. When u open the mod file with rpfm and go to scripts tab. Check scripts you can easily see army compositions. Just deleting some unit ids from those compositions will make those armies much weaker

Some of the events (at least Asrai Intervention) and non of the dilemmas work in multiplayer (head2head) games unfortunately. They trigger correctly in single player though. Could you, if time and energy allows, have a look into this? =) Absolutely love your mods and they have been a huge addition to many playthroughs for me and others.

Unfortunately, this makes Tyrion unplayable. I get slaughtered by turn 30 every time by the doom stack that spawns at the shrine of asuryan. Guess I'm gonna have to remove your compilation and go with the individual mods since I have no idea how to delete scripts.

Hey how do i make the changes you say about difficulty? I'm finding it a tad too hard of a start, fighting a 20 stack of endgame dark elves straight away and then having all of my neighbours declare war was less than ideal

I'm going to echo previous comments that the Marienburg pirates may just end up raiding in an impossible to reach spot next to Marienburg. You can't attack them, razing Marienburg doesn't cause them to move, and even allying with them and giving them a target doesn't cause them to move. I have also noticed that this doesn't always happen, as I let the Marienburg pirates go once before and the raiders were not there. So, I'm guessing there is some RNG issue with this event.

its not "balanced" or "meta" its just difficult. You can delete the difficulty scripts (whicever u want) and high elves are the esiest faction so they have the hardest difficulty mod. Thats the difficulty that can keep me in check so you have it in mod. Again, if you don't want it, it'll only take 10 secs for you to open the mod file and delete the script. You can also change the number of turns you gonna be attacked or the army comp. thats starts too but those will take like 45 secs. which you won't have I believe.

and then having all of lothren declare war on you. Brilliant. There is a difference between balanced and I play meta and you also better do so if you want to survive. The game is no fun if it is 50turns of sitting in 2-3 settlements

That stack literally catapults them to power rating 2 (me being 34 as Tyrion). It would be shit enough of the stack was just full of shards and spears, but this is... something else

Along with the original half stack and the garrison is basically two stacks sitting in at Angerrial. Not to mention that Saphery first colonized the shrine then promptly the shrine got transferd to the cult because of the script

Seriously. What is up with spawning a high level DE stack outside the shrine of asuryan at turn 5. With it there, you can't conquer Angerrial, since as soon as you do the stack, which would be barely possible to handle at full strength attacks. Then it says 'If you don't capture the shrine, there'll be an attack at turn 10'. Sure, 'if' I dont do that.

Fortunately I play in VH difficulty so I can reload on turn 60 to recruit some sisters of Avelorn (and bring back Eltharion from the Badlands) xD

Like every other event that is optional and u can easilt disable it by deleting its script BUT high elves are the easiest faction in the game so yeah their events are tougher still not enough tho.

I think that the attack on Ulthuan is very disproportionate : fullstacks of elite dwarven units conquered ALL my territory in a few turn ...
