Less ramming aggression for all AI sets with the custom paint jobs.
Fixed the Wingman AI so they won't spin out so much.
Wingman AI also use more engine upgrades.
The Wingman AI have much faster lap times now.
The Outlaw AI use a few more engine upgrades.
I might just turn it down for all AI cars. If there was 2 options for every AI set, people would have to dig through a ton of AI sets to find the one they want.
The Seventies Stocks Gatecrasher mod has always had the AI aggression turned down.
If people want to keep the rough AI sets, I'll keep them as an option.
Added a new Bulldog body paint.
It would also beef up the Wingman AI. They're kind of under-powered now.
minor changes
Partly fixed that Wingman and Outlaw AI sets with the custom paint jobs. So far, they still don't use the custom painted wheels and they're lower B class and they use chrome rims but at least they work.
Still looking for a trick to get them the way they were before that game update.
The custom painted Hotshot and Bulldog AI sets are fine.
Added a new Outlaw body paint.
Now Outlaws, Wingmen, Hotshots and Bulldogs all have at least 23 custom painted AI and no duplicates.
I'l try and tweak the AI next.
Added 2 new Outlaw body paints.
Added 2 new Outlaw wheel paints.
Added 2 new Outlaw body paints.
Added 2 new Outlaw body paints.
Added 2 new Outlaw body paints.
Added 2 new Outlaw wheel paints.
Added 2 new Outlaw body paints.
Added a Wingman B class banger AI set (189 points) now. Every AI will have a different paint job but they aren't the custom painted ones.
Added 2 new Wingman custom body paints.
Now the Hotshot, Bulldog, and Wingman have at least 23 custom painted skins.
More Outlaw custom paints are coming.
I might tweak the Wingman AI.
Added 3 new Wingman body paints
Added 2 new Bulldog body paints.
Added a new Bulldog painted wheel.
Now Hotshots and Bulldogs each have at least 23 custom AI paints. No duplicates even with a full field of cars.
Still adding more Wingman and Outlaw custom paints and wheels.
Added 2 new Bulldog body paints.
Added 2 new Bulldog painted wheels.
Added a new Bulldog body paint job.
Added a new Bulldog painted wheel rim.
First I'll mess with the chopped up Bulldog modifieds and start them in this mod.
Making decent new cars from scratch and getting the million files set up is a ton of work.
Cheap junked economy compact cars.
It would look like an old pinto or vega modified.
Chopping parts out of the regular game models takes some trial end error and fishing around. We can't use 3D modeling programs on those ones. We have to mess with the file editing program.
I also looked into chopping part of the Gremlin model off and making a 1970s modified. Just gut it and chop off everything beyond the engine firewall and build a simple tube frame to mount the engine, sheet metal hood, side guard pipes, and huge exhaust pipes.
Also, now I can't change parts or upgrades on DLC AI cars any more.
Still trying to get the AI for DLC cars working the way I want again.
There might be a chance that I could replace the fenders with invisibly small spots.
Does Hotshot have removable front fenders?
I've still got a few tricks to try on the Wingman and Outlaws to get the AI the way I want it.
I'm thinking of adding in a dirt oval track (basically just the Example mod oval track with dirt and a few tweaks.
I might take a few breaks to build up the Gatecrasher 70s stocks mod.
Added a new Bulldog painted wheel rim.
Added new Bulldog painted wheel rim.
I just made the Hotshot and Bulldog suspension heights to be same for the player and the AI.
They wouldn't use the custom painted rims that go with those paint jobs and they'd also use different wheels. I'd also have to make them all B class 189 points.
I'm still trying to find a way to get the old versions working again.
Any chance of Wingman and Outlaw AI with custom liveries getting fixed any time soon?
Wingman AI also seem to drive a little better now and spin out less.
I added a new custom Bulldog wheel rim.
The mod still works for the Hotshot and Bulldog things.
The mod also still has the custom paint jobs and wheel rims for the Wingman and Outlaw.
There is still sort of an Outlaw AI set. It's A class now, uses chrome rims, and doesn't use custom paint jobs.
