Still it's bizarre they only limited this feature to the LLs and the Admirals you unlock via research.

I fixed that with a complete rebuild of the shipbuilding mechanic. Can't say 100% if the new patch broke it again, but it's rather unlikely.

the original mod had a problem where heroes could not be recruited when this mod was on. is this still true? because i cant seem to recruit heroes and im wondering if its still this mod

This was an issue with the original mod that's a result from building options being where the game doesn't expect them. The same thing happens with Blood-Grounds and Chaos Towers and I've not seen, heard, nor found a proper solution. Just turn off notifications for building/settlement upgrades, because, yes, it is annoying.

TL;DR: Known issue. No known fix. Turn off building/settlement/horde notifications to avoid annoyance.

I'm sorry sir, but may i report the bug. It seems like every turn it always asked to upgrade the ship building even when there aren't any to upgrade anyway.

Uh, I don't see anything about the trait.
And in any case, lords still don't get the trait when you recruit them during the early game. Just recruited one, and she's stuck at Pliable.

Since loyalty is disabled, could you perhaps alter the trait that's gained from loyalty, so you start out with the max level?

Update:

Disabled loyalty mechanic for all Vampirates.
Generic lords have a hidden bonus to loyalty to prevent potential crashes due to disbanding armies of lords with 2-3 loyalty on recruit.

Highly likely to be a side effect of the way CA has reworked how shipbuilding is enabled. Generic vampirate lords are effectively Legendary Lords with CA's rework. Personally, I'd recommend something that disables loyalty for vampirates as a workaround.

Then again, when I am actually awake, I may just add that workaround to this to save trouble, as it's literally just two entries.

Found a bug, when disbanding a unit on a low loyalty lord (pistol and sword with vamp magic specifically) it crashes the game, I've loaded without the mod and repeated disbanding the unit and the lord rebelled as normal. I had the mod loaded last in Kaedrin's mod manager and it didn't show any conflicts with the rest of my mod list.
