Just make a hallway with 2 doors and a room with 1-2 of the generator and a heater or 2 outside the hall then boom. tbh idk if it'd work or not. most likely not XD

Hi, can you make a similar generator for SOS2 which only function in the space? Maybe with cosmic radiation? (Useless on earth, only function if its on a ship hull ground in the space sektore)

Quick guide how to update this mod to 1.2 (an possibile 1.3 in future if nothing major is added)

1) dowland mod
2) open file exploler
3) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2000153664\About
4) Open About.xml
Thats most important thing:
<supportedVersions>
<li>1.0</li>
<li>1.1</li>
</supportedVersions>

5) Just add <li>1.2</li>

<supportedVersions>
<li>1.0</li>
<li>1.1</li>
<li>1.2</li>
</supportedVersions>

6) Done, restart rim

Have fun :) ,btw author its that easy to update mind "wasting" 5 min to fix it, therefore looks like good mod.

7*) if the mod is still not loading properly in mod menu, copy paste the mod to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods

and unsubsribe/delete a steam one.

Hi all, yes this works perfectly with 1.2, when I have a second I will update the XML so it doesn't show up as yellow.

It would be cool if you add a version for the spaceship, since not all cavemen are. Smaller and generating less energy.

So on 1 save two of them struggled to keep my freezer on -10C but when I started a new one suddenly two were enough to keep cool my freezer to -63C and rest of my base to 10C. Which version of events is correct?

@gabi_izuel The mod terraform rimworld allows you to change smooth floors to un-smoothed among other useful things.

Appreciate! I like to fill my world up with aliens, not even so much as to play them, but becuase I think having a dozen different factions of a variety of different races makes the world more interesting, so I'm sitting on 1.0 waiting for all the races to get updated.

They definetly don't exist without the DLC, if you play the game without the DLC, it throws nasty red error text at you about the item not existing, effectively making this a DLC only and 1.1 only mod.

it might be that cryo techprints are extremely unlikely to appear due to only one of a kind existing. its been 3 years in my colony and i've never seen one in a quest

I poked around in the files, and it appears you can get techprints from world quests and exotic traders as well. Hopefully I'm correct. ;D

Question on the techprint. Do I need to get the dlc to use the techprint, or is it part of the vanilla game? and If so, Is there a version without the techprint?

just stick this in the same room as a mechanoid power cell. One cools, the other heats.

Anyways, nice mod, should be useful in my next colony

Updated: Now requires a cryogenic power techprint you can get via trading or quests.
Lowered HP to 900 - PROTECT THEM!
Pushes out even moar cold air.

The issue with adding a techprint to the mod is I am *pretty* sure they are DLC only. I would love to add one. I will need to investigate and check it out.
