Having radios unmovable would create additional trouble for people who want to rearange their base. Radio would need to be either dismantled or destroyed with a sledge. And new radio would need to be crafted to place in new spot.
Are you using mod on the server or on singleplayer game?
Thought, it can be modded, if more people need that.
@vsnegupal sorry for late reply, but sure, go ahead if still needed.
"steamlibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\" and "%userprofile%\Zomboid\Workshop\"
File doesn't match the one on the server: (I'm hosting from the game, not dedicated)
media/scripts/RadioToGrid.txt
steamlibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\2001719506\mods\RadioToGrdi\media\scripts\RadioToGrid.txt
Any clue? it works fine in single player
You can also check crafting window and search there. This way is useful when you not sure what you are missing (missing items are in grey instead of white, missing skills are in red).
May be Tactical and US Army walkies would have charging stations, but the rest wouldn't so IMO shouldn't (just being precise here, not that I want to prove my case to the court to have a judge make you change your mod, it's always up to you, and thank you for your collaboration)
CD players arent implemented in this mod, becaause it was written when they werent functioning. But there were radios with cassetes and cd players in 93, i think.

For anybody who is impatient as I was and can't wait for an update that fixes the "CD player bug" concerning the red premium tech radio:
- first BACKUP your save just in case
- find the file "RadioToGrid.txt" and in it search for "item RadioRedGrid"
- add a new line " AcceptMediaType = 0, " after "Tooltip = Works without batteries. Needs power source.,"
Better don't use MS notepad this could cause problems. I'd recommend something like notepad++
As a reminder, just like MrRAT said: This will not affect already modified radios. You will have to use a new unmodified red radio for the fix to work if you already placed and connected yours.
And just to make sure backup your save first. Don't blame me if you mess it up and have not done so. I only tested this with a save that did not have the mod installed before. I don't know how the game will behave if you already have a modified radio installed and then change the file
Wondering if i should install this mod, it would be a great help for my server.
Want to find good solution to not mess up with MP servers/players, and wouldnt like to brake single players items either. Update wouldnt change much, but already generated items doesnt change with mod updates, only new items.
I addded description when multiplayer launched without testing when majority of mods didnt worked, and wanted to take time to test it before confirming that there arent new bugs.
@Mr Shiny Boots thanks, will take a look at it.
Because PZ is set in the 1990s. We didn't have usb back then, my friend. We had DD batteries, boom boxes that took said batteries, and floppy discs. 1gb of memory? That was unimaginable back then.
After all, most modern Devices are easily connected to the Grid, so why not in PZ?
