Just started using this station. great starter plus good for storage spot.

A good cheap base. If you park it in the sun and point the solar panels at the sun you have a furnace that you don't ever need to fuel. I'd recommend slapping a dozen or so solar capacitors on back of the solar panels for extra power when you need it. Regardless its useful even late game as a free furnace.

Great build. Easy to mod and upgrade from early into the late game. Glad that you understand how things work. Little over the builds that can't seem to get the vents to work. Very impressed with all your builds so far.

I am loving the colors and the designers of the MCRN stuff! I for sure would love to see more of these creations! Great work to you and the others! Keep it up @jrandall ! This is my favorite set by far. I have multiples of everything on my fleet right now.

I've taken to using this as a first space station, it's so *cheap*, and yet everything you need is right there. Never-ending solar power, unless you start installing furnaces or teleports, but still, plenty of space for upgrades so it grows with you.

Oh, and by the way, at a little over 3800 hrs in this game, your designs are still some of my favorite go-tos. Keep 'em coming!

I fully upgraded this according to the instructions, and then I took out the blocks just behind the existing generator and added three new small generators in there. No shield, about 11 hrs power with existing fuel tanks. Turn on shield, drops to 11 min! Yeah, that shield is a monster energy eater......

The small generator can't handle the shield generator. Is this just a version issue?

Your MCRN series is amazing! And this station is great as an outpost or starter station with the option for upgrades making it future proof. Keep up the good work.

I have an issue when I turn off my jetpack and I fall through the station...I hit "O" when I placed it to make sure it was level...not sure what I'm doing wrong

Thanks J'ee! I guess I am not understanding about the 24 blocks in the floor. Some of the blocks don't have proper UV's to texture them nicely. I haven't heard of any blocks getting removed from the game, but I would expect at some point the devs would fix the UV's on several newer blocks that have issues. If this base ended up with illegal blocks, pretty much every creation I have made since the new blocks were added would have the same issue. Thanks again!

No problem. One issue, though: I spotted are twenty-four Large6 blocks, in the floor. You can see a couple of them in your screenshot of the LCD -- look to the foreground, how the textures are stretched on a couple blocks. Those are the Large6 blocks and could get removed from the game. If that happens, this wonderful little station will contain illegal blocks...

Good lvl 10 starter build. This is what we like--an excuse to do a project!

This is my favorite base. Spawn it at a planet close to the sun and solar power handles everything. You can build / deconstruct/ repair whatever you want without burning through fuel cells. Thanks so much. Most of my go to design are jrandall gems!!!

Love this great look I did add a lot more energy storage onto the back of solar arms ( with everything on and upgraded was sucking up power in a few min at night )

Nice build as always!
Just a little problem with a growing plot, the growing block at the corner near the window above the storage bay 1 and 2 cant grow anything because of high temperature. I guess its because of the generators.

I didn't really want to do that until A12 goes live or it will break it for anyone using A11 at the time. But, thank you for the heads up. And thanks again all!

A12 exp. I assume they added a flag for whether a base is a planetary base or a space station. and that it defaults to planetary base

Game won't let me spawn this in space, only in a planet. Says "Base spawning not allowed in this playfield"

never get bored looking at the art you create from this games content. have to ask. will their be series? after all shame to let this just downloadable content. few mouth actors some damn good players to make it work. then a youtube series. with well scripted action deplomecy and some sort of hero crew. could give star trek a run for it;s money and crash the halo party,:)
