A fair warning to any one actually wanting to use the mod.
The turrets shoot 1 bullet at the time making them worthless. dont recommend downloading and using the mod unless you are wiling to eddit the mod fies

Any one else find that the vulcan cannon is industrial tech but requires spacer research? Is it a bug or intended?

I found that some turrets in the game had a much longer cool down time than indicated in the information bar, which made the turrets much weaker than other ones. Is this a bug or something?

Mud moat can be built on Ice/Snow and it has %100 fertility, it just feels stupid. You can have greenhouse with Moats. Diggable thing I guess makes it broken.

Holy shit, boy. That one hundred round burst just goes on and on. It mulches things.

I'll probably tweak it a bit. It kinda sucks waiting for it to spin through all those rounds in order to find a new target. Still much better than the slow rate it was before.

I found the mod files, and changed the burst count on the Vulcan to from 1 > 100.

SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2009766414\Defs\ThingDefs_Buildings

Just open the file in notepad and use the find function for "Vulcan" and look down for burst count, then add two zeroes. Makes it function a lot better in my opinion. Cool down between bursts being .1 it fires continuously.

I have noticed the horrible ROF for the Vulcan Cannon as well. I can't find anything that changes it's settings. I'll try and find the mod files themselves next.

Hi @legodude17 , there are something wrong with "Devastator Mortar", every time I try to fire a mortar round, it is spam in game, and I think it is because the latest update to the game required mortars to have a round.
Could you update the mod to avoid this bug?

@Stickman, if you believe they're too expensive, I think you're playing the game wrong. The turrets are very powerful in the right hands. You can also make many of the turrets with stone instead of steel, which makes them a lot cheaper.

The rebalance makes the turrets so extremely expensive they're worthless compared to just using default ones.

For some reason this mod is totally not working for me. Any of the turrets in this mod that I place dont have their actual turret component-I can build them but there is no turret head and it wont shoot. Any idea of a fix? Already uninstalled and reinstalled mod.

since this can be exploited really well (for farming in desert, snow biomes) and vanilla mud doesnt have this anyways, i think it would be a good thing to remove the fertility from the mud moat. it would also stop trees from growing wich oncoming enemys could use as cover.

did this for myself for now.

For anyone who needs a quick, bootleg fix for CE compatibility, find the About.xml and remove the "+" in "<name>More Vanilla Turrets 1.1+</name>" and CE appears to recognize it again.

CE mod doesn't recognize this mod because the mod name has been changed from More Vanilla Turrets 1.1 to More Vanilla Turrets 1.1+.

Same here CE stopped working, other turret mods still run on CE
