Thank you for considering it,

I still haven't added compatibility with resources from other mods, but I hope to do that sometime in the future.

Oh and to answer your question id love if this was compatible with kuras extra gems(?) I think i got the name right. It makes sense that you can mine it

Ohhhh gotcha. That helps shine a light on things

In hardcore, ore mining is greatly slowed down, and there is no possibility to mine components.
In version 2.0 there is an option to choose which resources will be mined in the mine and at what speed, but maybe something has already changed, I don’t play with this mod.

Im just confused as to what the difference is between this and the non hardcore version and the 2.0 version,
WexMan  [author] 12 Jul @ 2:05am
@Hades the King
No. And what specific ores are you interested in? For example, in the NON-hardcore version there are components.
Hades the King 12 Jul @ 1:29am
Are you able to get modded ores from this fork?

You should add a menu where to adjust mining speed and actual diggable resource. Also you could use like in the quarry mod the option only to build this in certain rocky terrain, once depleted the mine could be closed/demolished freely.

Also add infestation, configurable in the menù.

Other than that, thanks and keep up the good work, i dropped some point at you :)

A lot of folks seem to take issue with the availability of items. A lot of that could be changed by adding an options menu, where you could toggle what was available and it's extraction rates. It would also consolidate the base mod and the hardcore mod into a single package

Was just about to grab this then I read that the mines contain plasteel and components... I find that odd, and throws the balance way out of whack. Gonna skip this.

Hey WexMan. So I made a version of this mod that adds all resources available in game + mods. Since you are not the original author I didn't wanted to ask your permission but if you ever talked with AngleWyrm, did s/he give you permission to edit his/her mod? Can I upload it to workshop?
PremierVader 30 May, 2021 @ 6:54am
I agree with what John Canavi below said.
WexMan  [author] 1 Mar, 2021 @ 11:19pm
@PetLoverSpy
Unfortunately not. They must be added manually to the mod files.
PetLoverSpy 1 Mar, 2021 @ 6:24am
When mods add mineable materials, do they become available as bills in this mine?
odaswifteye 17 Jan, 2021 @ 9:42pm
I think what both mines are missing is infestation.
If the surface drill or having a cave makes the bugs mad the mine should make them angry as well.
The longer the mine is in operation the more bugs spill out of it.
Starways System 16 Jan, 2021 @ 10:48pm
This is just my opinion, so please don't take this as me being rude or as a criticism. It would be nice if components and Plasteel were removed from the list of mineable items in both versions. Components are supposed to be hard to come by, especially if they're packed inside rusted old machines. It would be better if acquisition of components was left to vanilla deposits, or manufactured.

Plasteel should only be able to be found in rare conditions or directly manufactured if you have a mod that enables the technological base for it. In short, it's more realistic to simply provide raw materials and let the player manufacture advanced stuff like components and plasteel.

Idea: Perhaps a Realism version of this mod that implements some or all of the above?
captainghost 14 Jun, 2020 @ 10:02pm
If anything you could have it like the quarry mod. Pawns simply mine, and it's sort of random what comes out except with percentage chances of getting something other than chunks.

2 things...

1. Im glad this hardcore version exists, original was busted as hell.

2. Is it possible for bugs/infestations to spawn on mines like they do with deep drills?... cause that'd be cool.
GrootSoutPiel 14 May, 2020 @ 5:02pm
Maybe something to add in future , the ability to set how much of each resource it generates in the mod settings so that we can play around with it then you dont have to release a different version yourself each time. Using the original version feels too easy but Im hesitant to change to this hardcore version because now im used to easy steel... anyway thanks for the hard work appreciate it!

Nice mod. Thanks man. Any plans to add modern and advanced tiers to the mines?
_Caball3ro_ 9 Mar, 2020 @ 3:06pm
Finally a 'not cheating' mod so I can finally Not play on mountainous terrain! Thanks a lot
WexMan  [author] 6 Mar, 2020 @ 9:39am
@Mistletoe The Bard
Ok, thanks, I will appreciate
Mistletoe The Bard 6 Mar, 2020 @ 9:36am
@WexMan Thank sounds like pretty good nerfs. I will give feed back once I tried them out.
WexMan  [author] 6 Mar, 2020 @ 7:53am
The exact numbers, which I won’t say, because the speed is not calculated in seconds or something, it in ticks, how it works, I did not quite figure it out, but simply multiplied it several times. Please I need feedback from the community to understand and balance the mod.
WexMan  [author] 6 Mar, 2020 @ 7:53am
@Mistletoe The Bard
-the resulting resource during mining is reduced by 10 times;
-resource extraction time has been increased several times for all resources, except plasteel.
Mistletoe The Bard 6 Mar, 2020 @ 7:04am
@WexMan Sorry, I didn't see it the first time when I read it. Oopsy.

Do you remember the rough numbers of those changes? (The normal version was quite op in my opinion.)
WexMan  [author] 6 Mar, 2020 @ 5:43am
@Mistletoe The Bard
Not sure I understood you correctly. What is the difference between the hardcore version and the normal one is in the description of this mod:
- longer resource extraction;
- getting fewer resources at a time;
- time increase of research.
Mistletoe The Bard 6 Mar, 2020 @ 3:54am
Is there any difference for this "Hardcore" version?
