@Fabian_M1, I posted my comment before check other posts, sorry. Double jump and then dive into the mushroom makes it possible. Maybe it's an idea to add a signpost before that particular jump? The rest of the map was perfectly douable EXECPT for the last hookshot with the spikes. Like someone else already mentioned I had to release on my swing and re-hook to make jumping after swinging possible. Glad I finally beat this level, lol.

Everyone comes here to complain about the green mushroom jump. Is it possible, maybe. Probably not but maybe

Does that mean it should exist, no. The jump directly ruins the fun of the level putting a dead stop in lots of players runs.

Remove it, the level becomes alright. Don't know about anything past that jump but the first bits of the level were alright. Checkpoints were a bit far causing for almost a full minute of redoing a level just to get to one part. Also the part with the turning gears and using the dwellers mask, while again possible, it just seemed poorly conceived and not that fun of something to do.

So if you take away anything from this, let me clear my throat for this.

just because something is possible doesn't mean it should be in the level. If it ruins the fun of the level or makes it impossible for most players, should it really be there? That's all.

The theme was also a bit confusing, but didn't really bother me that much.

Jumping at the green mushroom is imposible bro... Watched how they did in on a vid but in the vid there was no wall after the mushroom? Why was the wall added? Very lame.

Very good map. I have just beaten it. I didn't struggle that much on the dweller part, mushroom or the hook part. After many tries I found out how to do it consistently, but those red platforms, which fall down immeadiately after touching relly gave me a hard time. :D Also the music is amazing

@Fabian That's interesting about dive-canceling with the hookshot. I was unaware that was an issue and surprised I'm only learning about it now. Considering that, I would say that I liked the level overall, only having a bit of frustration with the mushroom and the hookshot section. Thanks for the reply, and I hope to see more of your content in the future.

@Lilith Fair points. I've seen some people play the level and how some parts may be punishing. For the final swing over the spikes, you'll have to dive cancel before you swing to get the normal upwards momentum. For any hookshot in the game, diving into a swing will cancel the upwards momentum after the swing.

Hi there. Just wanted to say that I have very mixed feelings on the level, especially after experiencing it through the Challenge Road.

First off, I want to say that I really liked the atmosphere and presentation of the level overall. I enjoyed it a lot, and I didn't initially realize it was KH themed until I hit some of the set-pieces. I especially liked the very end with the rail and the 3 cats.

However, I think some bits are overly punishing. I don't think the dweller platforms are difficult at all, so I struggle to understand that one. But the mushroom definitely catches you off guard at least once, which I think is unfair.

Then the section after the cleaning cats. Without umbrella badge, I would land hard on the red platforms, falling down unless I used Time Stop. Then the final swing over the spikes would not give me any upwards momentum, guaranteeing I would fall. In order to fix it, I had to jump off of it and then re-attach. Seems like a bug.

I love this level up until the double dweller platform, the timing is far far too tight to get on the second platform, it ruins my mood when I have to basically do a frame perfect double jump.

I respect the level but that should honestly just be adjusted, even if it's like a centimeter lower it'd be better.

Didn't know diving onto a bouncy surface kept the momentum like that. Really fun rift apart from that green mushroom since I couldn't figure it out lol

You can get past them with properly timed double jumps. Make sure you're doing the second jump when hat kid is at the peak of her first jump.

Play the mod by itself, so that you don't have the 3 lives limit from challenge road and just practice it. It's possible to make the jump by simply jumping on the mushroom but I intended for ppl to dive onto the mushroom, it's much easier if you dive. You get more speed bouncing this way.

Bc mushrooms are cool!:googly: It tests the player's air control but for other players may be a piece of cake. There are mods with much smaller mushrooms and others that bounce you lower, I very much enjoy these. However, I will still consider the comments I receive.

Hey cryo, glad you like itDouble jump off the ledge and dive onto the green mushroom. The dive mechanic adds a bit of momentum and diving into balloons, mushrooms, etc, allows you to keep that momentum.

This was a great Time Rift of considerable length, and it had a really nice atmosphere. Only thing that kinda dragged it down are the really slow moving platforms in the beginning. If you miss a cycle, you'll be waiting for a while. But in a level like this, waiting isn't too bad, and it also picks up past the intro. This is pretty much a must-play!
