don't know if this is bug but had an avikan crew member that I swapped some weapons on and they only aim at a downward angle. is it normal?

I'm having a hard time trying to put gear on my crew for some reason I can't do it. Is there a trick to it? I can't just drag the desired clothing to the crew member so I don't know how else to make it work.

Is there as way to set a default cosmetic uniform? Having to give every single person a new outfit if I’m just grabbing generic recruits early on is somewhat tedious, and this mod seems to take priority over a tailor’s default ability to set one!

Hey, could you release an addon or something that gets rid of the pet buffs? It makes them completely unbalanced and not fun to play with, a friend of mine and i have been trying to get rid of it by changing the code of the mod but i we cant get rid of the defense scaling from the planet we dont know how

Considering the last update for the mod being in 30 Jul 2023, and it having many bugs, I would assume it's dead.

Update: Posted about a possible conflict between this mod and Smart Crew, but on further investigation and testing I don't think there is an issue between them.

I think that it's just a resurfacing of the old bug where if your crew spend too long off-screen on the other side of a large ship, their clothing and equipment resets to default and ignores CC+ customisation until the player accesses the UI and confirms it again. I mentioned this issue a while back, but it may be a problem with how Starbound loads worlds so perhaps it can't be fixed.

If it could be put right that would be much appreciated, but if nothing can be done then I respect that. But either way, since there seems to be no mod conflict, I deleted my earlier post.

Turns out the nudity bug was because of the affected roles only having their outfits in defaultUniform, which is skipped, and not in default items where CC+ actually checks. Fixed for the Datebound roles here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3336173544

Every time i return to the ship, i get a duplicated copy of one of my crew members. Any idea what's causing that?

I fix the issue editing "udplayercompat.lua" > powerMultiplier = false,
Turn it on False, to disable the Overpowered broken Pets, they don't make 500+ dmg anymore. But... im not sure if this affect the Crew Members making them almost 0 damage.

I hope u can fix this issue please!, pets got really broken with this mod and make the game very unbalanced.

Turns out the reason those crew roles show up nude is that their clothing is not defined in their default items (only in defaultUniform). So if you make custom crew roles, don't forget to set those!

Recruits for non-vanilla roles (such as those in FU and CiC) inexplicably strip down to their hats. While I can dress the ones I recruit, the ones I don't just resume business as usual in their birthday suits. Terrible for immersion. Why does this happen?

Found an issue, this is critical :PuroHappy:
Pets got overpowered at the point they can make damage like 200 dmg when u are really started whit your iron set. After remove this mod my pets got normal damage compared to befored having this mod installed.

"Added "Disable" Button, it switches from "D" to "E", where "D" disallows spawning on ship, after enabling "E", you need to reload the ship for crew to respawn." I remembered that I played this mod on my Frackin Universe save with BYOS and I could easily toggle on and off crewmembers but now I disabled and enabled my crew and they dont spawn? Iam not sure what reloading ship means, I exited my ship and reentered but still nothing. Any help?

@Kreepy @Bunuffin @fub167 I had the same issue and found that quitting and loading back in fixes it. You don't have to restart the entire game, just quit to main menu and load back.

Hey, I have two crew members disappear after pressing the save button, and I can't even dismiss them, so they're basically non-existent and take crew space. How can I fix this??

Good compatibility with fu and Corbent's Interactive Crew and Multiplay.

Now your crew can use energy weapons to hard biubiu enemies.

It would be nice if instead of a item controller or a tailor that if you could toggle the customization menu from Sail some how. Or if there was a item panel you could place on the wall like sail for customizing.

At some point the mod stopped working completely. Item effects do not apply to NPCs. NPCs stopped being edited even after the ship was updated

I don't know what to do anymore. One day the mod was working fine, the next it won't cooperate at all. Crew members no longer change into the customizations I make unless I take them off the ship, they no longer use even basic weapons. I just can't get this mod to work anymore and I don't know why.

not sure if this is related to this or better crew, but for some reason my crew did not wanted to respawn back into the ship once they died. once I uninstalled it, both crew members reappeared again

Not sure if it's related, but I switched from Smart Crew to Better Crew and now I'm struggling to get this mod to work on some crewmembers, particularly the tailor.

Originally I could get the outfits to update instantly, but on companion crewmembers now I have to take them with me off the ship before it updates. And on crew you can't bring with, like the Tailor, the outfits won't update at all. Better Crew does claim to be compatible with this mod, but that's the only mod I changed before this behavior began. And that's with a fresh start on both characters and universe.

Re: FU compatibility - I used this back when I played FU and it was more or less fine. The only issue I ran into that wasn't solvable by restarting the game was that NPCs wanting non-vanilla roles would inexplicably undress except for their hat, and that issue affects other crew mods too (like the Datebound roles added by Corbent's Interactive Crew).

Not a huge game-breaker, especially since you can dress the ones you recruit, but it is kinda weird to have un-recruited NPCs just walking around their towns buck naked.

My advice for FU. install his only when you want to change your crew memebers and then uninstall(unsub) after, leaving it just causes lag(for me) and crash when I try to get back in.

as far as FU. I was able to install this, tchange my mates with no problems. it was when i quit the game and came back, thats when it would crash constantly. unsubbed to this and my game was fixed and the crewmembers still had the GUNS i gave them NOT THE CLOTHES (idc tbh, gun part is crucial tho) HIT OR MISS FOR FU

this mod makes it so that all of your crewmates have only 10 energy, no matter what you give them. This seems to stick to them even after you delete the mod. This might be because i'm using fraking universe
