for some reason the game is showing the ships as being biological ones which is being annoying and giving me the bio tech which i dont want, anyone know a fix?

Except Superior General Delvardus‘s, which was the first in the list and then still is now replaces the strike craft with TIEs.

I mean, just searching the workshop for "Star Wars Empire Ships" and looking at it's default sorting has a version with 3.14 in the description as the second option.

If the ships had the default values, the mod would be really good. But the ships are very op.

My guess is that the problem lies in the mod and it's dependencies being 2 years of updates out of date. Just a hunch.

TheSting hasn't posted in the comments since Aug 2020 and on his profile page he specifically states he's done working on Stellaris mods as of Jan 2021. Don't be expecting an update any time soon.

:steamthumbsup: I play this mod for a long time and all I have to say it gave me a good time that I will never forget. If people giving you a hard time for no reason then fuck them... end of the day your a person and you made a mod that i would consider the best mod in Stellaris.

(Spread this to help try to protect the mod authors and or maintainers from abuse, and keep our beloved mods from dying!!) It is because of the absolute disrespect by people like jessesaber (go on to TheSting's profile and look for his name and comments), that a lot of mod authors and or people who take up and maintain deserted mods like TheSting that quit, have people constantly nattering at them about updates and requests, that is one thing, but people who crab, complain, berate, swear at, bully and steal, those are a complete other thing, the things that add more to their pile of things that just wreck their moods, negativity can go quite a lot farther then positivity, control your tongue these people are not paid to deal with abuse and they certainly do not deserve it, (short form: for the jerks who can not be bothered to read and face the fact that they are pieces of disrespectful trash and that they are the main cause of stuff like this.) Be nice to them, or shut the hell up!!!!

Man i would be more then willing to fund someone to keep this mod up to date, to me stellaris just is not worth it without this mod, me and my brother have both quit playing because this ship mod is very sadly, horribly out of date, i would take it up myself but i have a lack of technical knowledge to do so. i only understand enough to make simple edits.

If you are to use this mod 3.1 be aware that you will not have the ability to use the first contact objectives as first some reason using this mod disables it. You have been warned

The additional ship classes are curently broken causeing the ships to not show and all tie varients cant be used in the ship builds any chance for a fix.

To select the Empire Ship Appearance, it states that I need the Nemesis DLC but it's not listed in the requirements for this mod

for those wondering this shipset still works with the most recent patch with a very minor exception. you cant have any tie fighter style ships because you cant produce the resources needed for them. the mod that gives the resources the core components for some reason is not compatible with current patch. my fix is to use the vanilla star wars weapon mod, and for the fighters i just use regular game fighters. you cant really see them in action anyway so you can just pretend. and it all works out :) hope this info helps.

I have found the issue "*\common\country_types\sw_empire_01_country_types" deleting it fixes the first contact issue but I don't know enough about modding Stellaris to know if it'll break anything else. I think it's an edited default file to let the AI use the extra ship classes.

Just confirming that it works with 3.0, Vanilla ship types have no weapon locators for the non-core sections though.

The ships are showing up as block placers, any idea how to fix that or just wait until a patch comes out? These mods are freaking awesome by the way. Keep up the great work!

I don't think this works with latest patch, I was getting the blank dialogue box spam, until I disabled the Star Wars mods (ships, power, and weapons) and that fixed it for me... RIP

Hi ! I would like to congrats you for the mod and hope you are well ! I don't know if you will update the mod but if yes i've tested it. The ships seems to function, i don't see problem about them for now. What i can say is that the mod interferes with the new First contact system. In fact the foreign empires are immediatly contact and you can already speak with them when you meet them. I hope this could help you. I would like to thank you and, other creators ,again that you have allow us to rule the galaxy with our favorites ships during those years. I hope this adventure will continue but if not my opinion wouldn't change! Thank you a lot !
