Pressing tab makes it so that the top half of the leader/karma board stays on screen no matter what, everytime i spawn in it shows that i am Mercenary despite my role being different on the end of round board and my role just being different in general.

Hey, im testing out ttt stuff for my group and every time i log in solo im stuck as mercenary, even when i use the code to change roles. Is that because im solo, or is it some glitch

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and providing credit! I'm glad people were inspired by my work. FYI The continued development of this CR pack is now on an unlisted Workshop item and I give it out on a per request basis.

Just a heads up, EMT has basically been implemented in the new Custom Roles as Paramedic, and Bouncer and Cultist have been launched as external roles

There is a config for the Hypno DOT dmg/interval, but not to disable it. There is no config for vamp speed, Though I do have a config for it on the test branch. I haven't moved the newest version to release in some time. I plan to once some of the extra features are ironed out.

Is there a way to turn off the Hypnotist's DoT ray and make the Vampire's fangs less fast with commands/config?

I don't usually use ULX command so I can't speak to that, and I don't know how that is coded in relation to TTT custom roles. If you didn't get any new roles, then either you don't have enough players to hit the minimum or the mod isn't loaded on your server. You should review the CVARs.

You can apply it to your server config, either your server.cfg or listenserver.cfg depending on if you are running listen or dedicated

Is there some way to make the commands for the role settings happen automatically or do they have to be manually typed into the console every time?

Another one could be a werewolf role. The werewolf could be a purple 3rd party role that looks like a normal innocent but can shift into a monster/werewolf with increased health and a melee that does a lot of damage. When in werewolf form no one can tell the identity of the person kinda like Deceit or Unfortunate Spacemen. So unless someone sees the shift, the wolf can go unidentified for a while. That way people can't just shout "its jack!" before dying. The catch could be that the shift only lasts for a bit like 30 seconds and then needs to recharge to be used again. And if it happens to run out of time and you shift back to human form in front of people they will know it is you. Could also make it so the wolf in human form does less or no damage with guns. Something like that or if you think of a better idea to balance it.

All fun ideas! I haven't added new roles in a while. I've added a few small things you can enable like Health pots that spawn around the map to encourage exploration and discourage innocents from packing together in the open. I don't think I've posted the CVARs for that yet.

Regardless, I'll keep these in mind when I begin work on the next roles, which I think will be new Traitor roles and a new neutral role.

There should be a juggernaut role where the round starts and there is only one traitor but he/she has 600 health. So its 1 v 6 and they have to eliminate everyone. Maybe even limit the Jugs weapon to a HUGE.
There should also be a necromancer role where a traitor or purple 3rd party kills people then raises them back from the dead with half health and half damage as minions. He/she can keep raising them over and over until someone figures out who he/she is and kills them.
Lastly, there should also be a trapper role where either a traitor that cant do much gun damage or a jester type gets a ton of credits and has to eliminate everyone with things like barnacles and C4 and all that type of stuff.

Hmm, could be a number of things. If you are running TTT gamemode, the workshop item is enabled, your the server or doing it on the server console, it should recognize the command. ping me on discord if you can't figure it out, I'll try to help.

Hey there, I appear to be having some issues with this mod. I want to change specifically the percentage chance of a cultist spawning however it does not seem my game will recognise the command needed to do that in the console.
I've tried doing this with just the base mod and its components and no others but the console still does not recognise the commands despite the game running

I've sent a friend request over discord as Jacket if the situation needs to be discussed or a more direct answer can be given.

Well.. I have a lot of follow-up questions.. activate what, the roles? are you running a server or local instance? Did you subscribe to the entire collection? did you run the server in TTT mode?

How do i activate them? I paste everything in the server.cfg but nothing happens in the round?? No one gets a different Role

@JeK that's a server setting you should be able to set in the interface before starting the server. you can also modify it in the console using the commands below:

Minimum players required before the Detective role is active:
ttt_detective_min_players

Number of players that will be detective:
ttt_detective_pct

Max number of detectives per round:
ttt_detective_max

There are a ton of TTT settings that can be changed using these CVAR commands.
Some vanilla CVARs are mentioned here

Well alright, i like this custom roles better than the normal ones because new roles get added here and it's much more fun, although a question, my server had over 6 to 7 people and no one was a detective, how many players do you need for an detective to spawn?

@JeK the reason why certain roles from different factions have access to the bat is so the Bouncer can't just claim their innocents by wielding a bat. It would make them immediately innocent like the Detective, who as of now, should be the only non-ambiguous role.

to make him a little more special, he has a ridiculous amount of starting health :)

This ambiguity is what we are also implementing with the Medic/EMT role. You won't be able to tell the difference between a Hypno and a Medic.. but it will potentially help them prove innocence in a zombie round.

I love the Cultist idea, traitors have to act fast and kill the cultist before they get revealed but the Bouncer role is kinda meh, i wish his special ability which is the Bat only belonged to him like traitors can't purchase it from their T shop, and it's like his special ability like the Vampire having fangs, traitors can't purchase that so i hope the bat gets extracted from the T shop so it makes the Bouncer more special on his own way without having other T members also using his special ability

sounds kinda like town of salem merged with ttt, and i like the sound of that
