The build is not that long in itself but getting the proportins right and the propsystem working surely more than 20 hours.
Yes the center of Mass should come down quite a lot. A stabilizer and I think a fin one is apropriate.
I have been looking a bit in the dimensions of these super yachts. The bottom of the hull should be deeper. I'm now busy with a hull of Madame Gu. It goes slowly but it is clear that the hull underwater should at least go 2,5 m (10) blocks deeper.
If I find the time I will adapt this form. Feel freel to adapt this one.
I had to think about your comment. I think you mean Width instead of thin?
Yes it is a elongated form. But it copies the hullform and the numbers I can find.
Did an experiment. Replaced the roof and the two upper decks with wing front parts. The center of mass dropped 50-55 cm. If you add engines etc down in the ship the whole center of mass will come down a meter plus.
I left the engines out so you have options where to place them and how to build a funnel.
Maybe I will make a version with my idea of Funnel and engines
Never the less the less the biggest problem is how thin it is. If you want i give you a hand, my discord is:
AXEL_X#9372
200+ subscribers. It is a small number compared to the really popular creations, but I'm pleased with it.
But if the hinges get the reverse number input things will somersault. So if that is the problem the number that is put in shoulde be made a negative or a positive.
if the flip is capsizing you have to remeber thtat i did not add ballast. You can lighten the top by replacing large surfaces with wing panels and you should replace the bottom partially with weightblocks.
I would get a line drawing of that loc and take teh measurmentsand compare them
The dow can be sharper and more angled. I guess if you elongate that part with 4 or 6 blocks it looks better. But since I wanted it to fit in the standard dock that would lead to cutting of a section in the middle. Can be done but you would loose cabins space etc.
My first attempt had a more straight bow line but that made it sort of blunt. So this version is more elegant but lost 8 blocks amidships.
If you start to fiddle on one end the lines move so you need to rework the rest of the ship as well.
I personally don’t import 3D models. In a sense I use the traditional manner. I have pictures and plans, a note pad, and then I build block by block.
This one is a bit different. looked at a few yachts on Youtube and then build something with the maximum hull length that sort of clicked with what i had seen.
Have you got anything in mind especialy?
