This is a great mod. Is it possible to make an 1842 springfield? The design is the similar to the 1861 ( close enough for Ravenfield), but with the ability to use buck and ball as well as a round ball. It would make Civil war matches a lot more realistic

I have updated the mod to have a better third person model with less shading errors. This old model has a lot of problems lol, but I got it looking okay by defining sharp locations. (and pruning unneeded verts)

A'ight bros I think I finally resolved most of the long-standing issues with the weapon. Auto-reload should actually play an animation now.

Oh, I don't use auto reload so I suppose that's why, wouldn't know how to fix that other than to turn it off

i have found that when it auto reloads the animation wont work yet when you press R (or what ever you press to reload) it works. i don't know if you already knew about this or what but i thought it would be helpful.

Try it now, I really have no idea how to problem solve this since it works for me, but see if the update works, it might take some time to apply to your game.

I have the same problem, I shoot it and the reload animation just doesn't happen. I thought that maybe the weapon was broken, but from what others said, it might have just been reloading but not playing the animation?

All right, I just updated this pack to have a Mac-compatible version of the weapon - same name as the normal one, but with (Mac Compatible) at the end, it might take some time for the update to apply, and since I'm not on a Mac, I only guessed at what might've been the issue. Let me know if it works once the update installs itself.
