I was able to remove the garg files from the vpk to fix the issue, but they really shouldn't be included by default, since the gargantua is normally invulnerable.
Otherwise, I enjoy this and your more realistic damage mod.
@Mirellanmål
The mods work. In general and these two.
For this, I've done some testing by messing around with the console, spawning NPCs and such and testing out some of the weaponry on them. In the exception of the more destructive weaponry, the damage is indeed distributed differently depending where you fire on a target.
give npc_vortigaunt
That will spawn a vortigaunt. close the console and when you see it in-game, open up the console again and enter:
ai_disable
That will stop it from attacking you. Shoot it in the stomach/pelvis area (the yellow hitbox seen in this image: http://imgbox.com/vpAeExTq ) and count how many shots it takes to kill it. Enter ai_disable again then repeat the process but this time shoot it in the chest. If it takes less shots to kill by shooting it in chest than to the stomach/pelvis area, then it's working.
I don't know of any easier way, sorry. But if you don't notice any difference, maybe it doesn't matter.
working?
I love the idea of these two mods. However, they do not seem to appear on the installed Workshop Addons in the main menu of the game, so I was wondering if this was normal and if it works despite that.
Nonetheless, thank you for this ^^
