Also the level covers are very stylish and cool(I can't believe i put so much thought on reviewing a game campaign rather than doing it in my school essays)

Finally finished it, and this being your first campaign really isn't that bad but not very good.

I have the same thoughts as Yossarian, and my advice would be to play other people's levels and try implementing the gameplay elements they used for their levels/campaigns.

As for the designs of the levels they don't really look attractive and they feel a bit empty,
Rob's advice would be to experiment with tile combos and see if anything pops.

you could use outdoor sprites to fill the outer boundaries of the levels, the beach waves appearing in the dark abyss with no beach seems out of place (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2035539402)
(The hunter series or any jungle/beach level can help you)

or you can just cover them up with dark tiles

Just started playing this campaign and i've already encountered a few bugs in the first level,
the last floor has a dodger but no melee around to kill him, and when i entered the room with a cutscene. well this ---------> https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2035491682

(You can prevent that from happening by setting the door into *cutscene* its along the check boxes of where you can mirror, lock, etc. the doors.)

Cool concept, but the execution isn't great. The levels are crowded with enemies and generally aren't fun to play. The second floor of the second level was grating with its sliding doors, enemies attacking you at the start, and the inefficiency of the M16 against the enemies. The cutscenes are alright, but some of the face sprites don't quite mesh well with the HLM2 style (like with Pardo's eye implants). Also, you can easily trigger the cutscene at the end of the first level while still being killed. The enemy sprites you made were neat, at least.

I would suggest reducing the amount of enemies you place within close proximity of each other. Also, I would avoid placing down NPCs (like dead bodies) in main levels, as they block movement along with enemies' line of sight.
