what are oods abilities and stats and things they arent capable of like violence and stuff.

@Teh_Doctah I looked throgh the defs and the reason you are having issues is because this race is not capable of violence. Therefor the game cannot generate any of them when you attack the base. The only interaction you can get with them are trading caravans and visitors I think.

@Mlie tried it, cycling through randomised colonists when choosing scenario showed no Ood. World generated with Ood faction bases, so I landed near one and attacked it. There were no occupants, got base destroyed notification as soon as I unpaused. This was with nothing but Harmony and Humanoid Alien Races 2.0 besides this mod. Ood are not spawning. I have it loading after Humanoid Alien Races 2.0 with Harmony loading first, so it should be fine, but no dice.

Been having some issues: getting Ood factions and backstories on colonists from that faction, but no actual Ood; all the pawns I see from that faction are humans. I also have some Vanilla Factions Expanded mods and Hospitality, could they be causing issues (they haven't been with the Leeani that I also have installed)?

Cheers for updating, I'm just about to upload a Time Lord Regeneration mod so keep an eye on the workshop for that (doesnt require Humanoid Alien Races)

I never quite understood the benefits of the ood before any ideas?
