hmm, I cannot get the error to show up with only this mod and the latest stable wc build (eg: "WeaponCore - 2.2(2) Stable" ) what mods are you using it with?

Love this mod, really great work. It looks like it stopped working when weapon core updated, is a fix coming?

Looking at the values, looks like I forgot to change the modifier for armor, was/is set to 0.5 lel, though non armor is set to 4x.
I will update once I finish fixing the light mac model's barrel.

I'm disappointed that the light mac only goes 2 heavy armor blocks deep and that the medium mac only goes 11 heavy armor blocks deep. I do like the recharge time though. I don't like the super mac's charge time is so long. I do like the fact that it does go 450 heavy armor blocks (1.12 kilometers) deep though.

I do you know if you could increase the range? Mac cannons are supposed to be more like snipers.

Currently they use vanilla sounds, so if you have the realistic audio setting on they will be muffled in space (sorry for the super late reply)

Medium MAC doesn't even have a place to put ammo in. Built a whole ship around it only to find we couldn't load ammo in survival.

Also, given its dimensions, I feel like the Medium MAC should do a little more damage. Somewhere around 250k or 350k.

As this is with weaponcore.

What kind of damage does it inflict on sheilds?

I've got a coil gun from Mexpex onboard one of my ships right now and it doesnt do Jack shit against shielded targets. So I have to hit it with VLS missiles until the sheilds drop.

With the sheilds down tho, ohhhhh my does that coil gun make a mess.

Does the MAC follow the same mechanics as the coil gun just on a larger scale? I'd assume so considering they're the same class of weapon on different scales.

I buffed the guns AOE, whoo, didn't know I had to make the values so high though . . .
should be more fun to blow stuff up with these now lel.

for the light mac: only one shot followed by a reload time.
for the medium mac: three shots instead of four followed by a reload.
and during reload the weapons could "charge", instead of using power when fired.
other than that, i think its a great mod and i love the impact visuals :)
