@Mordegar seems to work but still shows the wrong buying price eg: i buy equipment 142,486.06
2x advanced sats 14,248,106.00 credits lol

that said it spears the assigned ship will buy and use the sats as they supposed to now at least (cos new start and no where near 14mil)

Fix for the overpriced deployables. Drop it manually from Nexus to your extensions folder and activate it in the ingame menu.

@Andrew1977 better turn off auto purchase. Since 7.50 there is a bug and cost for the sats is x100. I was very surprised when saw message, that ship will buy 20 sats for 8 millions :)

I keep getting not enough funds to purchase the restock, but I can manually tell them to go get them and it will keep going till they run out again. Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Mod broken. Scout ships get stuck on superhighways and are unable to scout unvisited unexplored sectors

Yeah, it wasnt the other mods, it specifically is just something with the travelling on JPs mods, and its the kinda gates that are connecting sub systems, ie Grand Exchange I to Grand Exchange III/IV. Its affecting JP's other mods as well, the Vault Explorer, Ship Explorer.

Only way Ive seen to correct it is issue a "fly to" command, then bump that command to top of order priority. The ship then re-approaches and enters the gate.

Ok jumped the gun a little, Saturn1 to Saturn2 started to act up with my Kukri set to galaxydrop it was still better than yesterday because it was doing it at just about every gate like that, this was the first and its gone through Neptune to Segaris no problem where it failed on each before.

Quin I did notice this too yesterday, almost right off the bat of a new start (terran) I had other issues with lag that seems to be a 7.1 problem and in doing so I removed a mod I was using that game and restarted. Without that mod the AI ships appear to be functioning properly, moving between sectors as they should. So Im going to ask do you have Satellite/Resource Probe & Laser Tower or Satellit Mk3/Mk4 - Resource Probe Mk 2/3/4 by J.L installed? I installed that yesterday and removed it today. Only had issues when it was installed.

Something I've noticed is that ships using this script seem to get easily flummoxed by superhighways. They'll just kinda get stuck in them and not know how to traverse unless you manually guide them.

I don't know if you're still updating this, but 2 issues I've seen: Vessels running these orders waste satellites around your own stations (not needed), and for some reason won't place satellites around stations of a faction who don't own the sector? (I have a scout setup with the Galaxy order, but restricted sector travel and sector activities to only those owned by Terrans. It will place satellites at TER stations, but not, f.e, PIO or ARG.)

I'm using a mod to make satellites OP, and it only took tweaking two numbers in the code and now my ships are automatically dropping a satellite 60km below the plane on a single gate for each sector.

Problem Report:
When Satellite droppers upgrading equipment,they will jump into kingdom' end without jumping back,and there's no Gate for passage,thus they blocked in that system.:steamsad:

Yeah that does stop them going into the sector but then it means any sector with an infestation gets no satellites as they seem to set the hive as the first satellite to drop. Does the installation count as a faction HQ or is it a wharf/shipyard?

create a blacklist and add khaak and/or xenon to it, don't remember which blacklist, i think sector travel. Anyway which blacklist just try it ;-)

This mod is perfect, thanks. One issue I'm having though is there is a Kha'ak hive that all of my ships keep dying at. I've tried unchecking Defence platforms from the list but they still go. What do I need to uncheck to make them stop trying to place a satellite there?

when I set the satellite refueling option, the ship spams me a message that it's going to make an equipment change at the Borons, but nothing happens because it can't reach the destination... What should I do to solve the problem?

Hello.

First use of this mod on a new game.
When the ship used it had its inventory empty, the ship sent a message saying it would restock for N credits somewhere.

But the popup cannot be closed, it's like spamming.

I am trying to have a look at the save file, the logs in the save have hundreds of entries of this message.

I edited the save when trying to "fix" it (the last save was over an hour ago, my bad...).

I hope it works, but I had to disable the mod.

Any idea why this happened?

Satellite droppers no longer restock. I get a Restocking at Argon Wharf and 0 Cr. Equipment fee, then failure messages. I uninstalled all other mods except JP_ScriptLibrary, started a new game with same result. All DLC enabled.

@Sithmedic i don't use such mods.. try it without them.. because i only support vanilla satellites.. when those mods change names/macros/id and radar range from the vanilla satellites it won't work.. if its still not working i'm here to help.. but i can't make my mod compatible to all other satellite mods out there.. it's too much work.. finding the macros.. the ids.. names.. radar range.. how they work.......

I came to report a bug about the mod not placing satellites.
I am also using "Satellite / Resource Probe & Laser Tower" by J.L.

Ship is not detecting the 10 mk1 satellites in hold and keeps trying to restock up to 10. (change of 0cr)
Ship is reporting no valid satellites to place.
Does not work on Sector or Galactic mode.
I have tried using Mk1 and Mk2 satellites settings and get the same behavior.
Turning it off and on again did not help.

Just noticed that since yesterday I have 50 mk2 satellites in the ship and it says it does not have the correct type and is going to idle even though it is set correctly.

when both satellites are active the ship will go through each object(station/gate) first with the range of the mk2 satellite and searches for that object that covers the most objects.. if the mk1 satellite can cover it also it places a mk1.. its a "greedy" algorithm to find a better optimal solution to reduce overlapping of satellites and reducing the amount of satellites needed.. its not a find the best solution but way better then placing on every station that is not covered (high overlapping rate).. I found a bug.. think its what your problem was.. update it shortly

Hi, first off I really love your mod! I've been using it for years now.

However it looks like since the new update (today?) the mod doesn't work properly. The selected ship will only drop satellites when set to mk 1 and mk 2. When its just set to mk 1 it tries to create a order for half of the set amount of satellites. When it does have enough satellites (say i set it to 10 satellites and mk 1) it'll try to create a resupply order of 0. When I disable resupply itll just idle.

I have the script library installed as well.

I cant just get this mod to work, most of the time the ships just get blocked after the first satellite, sometimes they just stay doing nothing (and yes, no others orders in the queue)
