Finally, the CCP stabbed the US in the back during the Korean civil war. That's their gratitude for liberating China from Imperial Japan. Gen. MacArthur wanted to invade China and purge the communists using a Pincer movement with US troops from the Korean peninsula in the North and the nationalist Chinese exiled on Formosa (aka Taiwan) from the South. The Chinese haven't won many wars during its history. Unless you count their illegal invasion of Tibet (which had no standing army) in 1949/50 and its continued subsequent brutal occupation and human rights violations. I do recall China being invaded throughout history by Mongol hordes, which is why they built the Great Wall. The UNCLOS Tribunal ruled in favor of the Philippines v China over disputed territory in the South China Sea (aka West Philippine Sea). It also specifically states that China's claims to their "9-dash" line is invalid and therefore not recognized by the UNCLOS. China, who is a signed member of the UNCLOS, didn't even bother to send any representatives to the UNCLOS Tribunal to contest the case. China only recognizes International Law when rulings are in their favor.

@BelGeode in time I plan on making a terrain with all the major Paracel Islands but the distances between scaled down some. Once you crack like 60km or so some wonky issues start to arise. South East Asia mod I think is 128km but you get teleporting objects and crashes here and there.

I like that Lincoln Island has a lot of water space for naval ops, were there plans to expand this island map too, or perhaps down the road a combined map of the chain with all the water surrounding? Not sure if it is practical, but might be cool even if the real life distance between islands is greater than 40km, and you have to... "shrink" the distance to fit on a 40km map.

Mods used in the video that I can remember are VME PLA, RHSUSAF, SU-33, HAFM Ships. There are more but I believe they were mostly sound mods and what not in the video.
