Thx man, glad you like it, yet funny fact, i'm a stranger to my own mod now it seems
Sorry for long time response. I added some animation and now they do throw their pillum like in Rome 1 , yet I only tested on roman units since I dont have much time.
@tch (Leviticus 18:22
I'm sorry man, but this mod it's 11 yrs old, was update 456 times and ...and sincerly, I have no idea whats in it.
🤣 That's the text from around 2013, but since then the mode changed in so many ways, that I really forgot what is what in this mod..and i'm not gonna change the text, cuz I don't really know what to put.. to many tw games, to many mods i did to remember what is in eachone of them
🙊🙉🙉
I see...i'll test it again and see what I can do 🤔
Only two things I want to bring up:
1. Diplomacy is a bit wonky sometimes. I'm not sure if it's me or the mod, but the AI will accept and break agreements all the time. Sometimes it's hilarious because it feels like they're trying to shake me down for all my wealth.
2. Rebellions are broken, but not for the Player. I like the fact that regions take longer to conquer because of public order. The main problem is that the AI can't handle it. Some major factions completely fall apart by turn 50, such as the Seleucid and Rome. It's also not as exciting to go into a region and find most of the settlements belong to rebel factions and the actual faction you declared war on has only one region.
Just my feedback, but this is still one of the best overhaul mods, up there with Radious and Divide Et Impera.
mod works only with Grand Campaign
Is it Grand Campaign only?
Needed a challenge in my campaign long time ago when I was playing this game 😉
This thing make this mod a bit unique from other mods, plus the Ai brutality between themselves and also towards you
@Swailesey
Well, if i'll be in a tower and your on a ground next to my tower, i'll shoot further than you
@Swailesey
I'm curious how many soldier do you lose per units when crossing into enemy lines? Because I haven't played with this mod for many years and I really don't know what damage it does that thing 🤔
Can you tell me which faction crash on Grand Campaign ?
Thx for letting me know. I think I had fix it, but I couldn't test all the factions, so try now and see how it is.
Probability you didn't pay attention to what's going on around your empire. For e.g look how many times only one city like Apollonia will change his owner in the first turns, like 3-4 different factions in less than 10-20 turns. You won't see this in vanilla or in other overhauled mods. And yeah Syracuse will hate you to, not only the carthaginians, you are a different culture to them, also this is quite historical, even in the famous mod Dei, Syracuse will declare war to Rome in first turns. All this was made to awaken the sleeping vanilla campaign Ai and take more actions
Battles are from my Warcray Battle Mod, it's a brutal battle mod and therefore it's also very hard, but that should be only from very high up and most likely in Legendary...on normal..I can beat twice the size of my army and I bet I can do that on Legendary as well and show you via twitch any time you like..
Per total you are right, this is a hardcore mode, meant for very experienced players
I found out what "the problem" is: the mod is updated for the Ancestral beta.
Because of that it doesn't work with the latest official patch, which I'm curently using.
same for you Mr.
try what I said again( unsubscribe, check to see if the mod was deleted from rome 2 data folder, ect)
and then do this:
from ?C,D,E,F? :\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\214950\206337045
move this folder(as a backup) who must had a file of 307,5 mb or just delete it!
the file name(numbers) may differ from mine also the folder location "206337045" could be different, but my mod is the only one with that size number 307,5 mb
"972100222708995026_legacy.bin"
This is something used by steam, when we update or receive updates from or for mods, steam never really redownload the entire mods for us, it just keep updating this file("972100222708995026_legacy.bin") over and over with the new changes. who actually is the mod in a different format (.bin)
last resort:

try to unsubscribe, then check to see if the mod was deleted from rome 2 data folder, then exit and restart steam
subscribe again, uncheck all other mods to see if its working
but the mod is still broken for me
OK. Here my own action points for those units.
Drop it inside your RomeII data folder
