Was so fun just trying to survive as Uesegi or Mori, having to use every exploit and battle glitch just to get to the next turn. But now it just feels like vanilla, have tried re-installing the game and the mod but nothing works, makes it kinda unplayable. By turn 30 you can already see how you're gonna win.
if you installed the game before this update, you should try to uninstall it and then reinstall
I will launch a chosokabe campaign later to see what happen
Chosokabe Bow Samurai and now Heavy Bune. All maps, all conditions, all the time.
in game you can notice that the mod is working with the nuumber of entity per unit (it is higher with darthmod) and with the background of unit cards (they will have different background colors)
For me, it's Chosokabe Bow Samurai only, so far. They sound like cannons.
Please try to only activate this mod are give me more details so i can investigate (unit type, map...)
I didn't check the bullet trails issue yet
1. Uninstall game from Steam.
2. Go to your game install directory and delete the entire game directory. Example, I deleted this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War SHOGUN 2
If you're unsure where your game directory is, you can right click your game in Steam and Browse Local Files, that puts you inside of the game directory you need to delete.
3. Go to the directory containing Shogun 2 preferences and saves. I deleted this folder: C:\Users\samwi\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly.
I will try to fix this, but i am not sure to be able to
go to > %appdata%Roaming//the_creative_assembly/shogun2/scripts/preferences.script
change the line
From:
campaign_unit_multiplier 1; # campaign_unit_multiplier <float>, Set default unit multiplier for campaign #
to:
campaign_unit_multiplier 1.01; # campaign_unit_multiplier <float>, Set default unit multiplier for campaign #
it will add one to 3 more units to some cards but will fix the problem.
Incidentally, for those looking to disable the colour-coded unit cards (without fiddling with launcher, missing in the Steam version),
this mod seems to cover them up nicely and very close to original vanilla style.
(E.g. if you are using additional unit mods, such as AUM-SHO for Darthmod.)
i don't think the issue comes from these mods
but maybe just try to deactivate them and then test if it works without them
did you activate only my mod and not the original darthmod too ?
