Works in 7.6 however if you want to adjust the spawn values, open the ext_01.dat file, using notepad. Then at the end, the catch all change the values there. It seems the region logic doesn't work anymore. For safety delete every region block and only keep the general catch all logic between the /region/ block.

How can I edit the number of crystals dropped, their frequency and their price?

Guys, does the mod work with all DLCs or it is a dead mod?

Im wrong, my issue was I was trying to watch my mining ship mine. I think just going to the other end of the sector is what made him fill up. I put the mod back on and went to the next sector and he filled up in a few minutes.

Think this bugged mining? I'm new just bought a terran M bolo mining ship (off that sweet crystal loot) and it would only search even though there was a ton of minerals everywhere. Turned off the mod and reloaded the save and his hull was full of silicon.

For those of you having trouble mining the crystals. I seem to struggled myself to figure it out, you need to go very close to the asteroid and find the actual crystal to shoot at. its very tiny to shoot from far away.

Playing with VRO and it works fine so far, everything collects and spawns as it should be

Can I adjust this so the rarity is a split between this mod and vanilla? I feel like this makes it rares too common.

It's always worked in the past but for some reason it's not working on the latest install.

i have some Problems. I coleckt a Burnit Crystal, and only get Mitonit or Agylit crystals.
PS: i use only VRO

as of last update it stopped workin for me,

working fine for me, glows all colors

The illumination works, but every crystal is grey, same with the light emitted from them.

Seems to have stopped working with today's patch. Visited a few asteroid fields, can't spot a single glow.

I have a question, Is it possible to even increase the visibility of the glow even more, if so how, if you don't mind telling me? :)

Works. But still might need an update as it replaces asteroid regions. Has a comment about needed an update.

I'm using this same mod off Nexus mods site. On a brand new game. Flew over to the small asteroid belt and found a bandannite crystal thats clear with white glow. A little farther i found a aguilite glowing blue. Then a purple mitonene. Mod still works. 6.0 with all dlc.

And I was looking for those crystals in Asteroid belt, no idea can I find them there! Do they spawn in only more distanced, harder sectors,no idea?

Do I need to be in scan mode to see the crystalls, I'm complete noob to this game btw!

Excellent mod, gave up on the game a while back, just got bored and having to hunt for an age for crystals to make bombs was doing my head in.
Came back today after the 6.0 beta released and read about this mod.
It single-handedly saved the game for me as I can now go to the belts and farm some credits if I get too low instead of grinding for hours just to achieve the same goal.
In a single player game it should always be this straight forward.Thanks!

hello, I can confirm this mod still works. I also thought it didn't work after last update, but I found out it was because I tried to mix with other crystal mods.

Make sure you are not using other mods changing crystal spawn/glow/etc... it says it's not compatible.

This mod alone works well for crystal farming anyway. Hope that helps

I'm not seeing any crystals in windfall summit 1

I've been having bad luck with the standard version of the game, then I bought the expansions all of them a day before they went on sale. I really want the ship that they give you in each start to be handed out by the faction representative. I want that casino ship. I want a split ship. Give me some tail of the reptilian for the slick and the sisk.

Cherry picking is what I wanted to call that. I want resource probes that can detect them. I really think there's a problem with the spawn rate. The real spawn rate in the universe depends on the reactions when planets come in alignment, and synchronize. A chemical reaction happens and blam there's some crystals, diamonds, some rubies, emerald, dragon ruby, platinum, iron.
I want there to be a chance that I get some of this when I burst open an asteroid. Some universes spawn blue diamonds that make you go invisible.

is there a way to up the prices ?
