Is there any chance the bag with the secrets can be updated with new text? I dug around the scripting and I can't find where the text under the summons shows up

BigAlTurbo - this is related to the gloomhaven fantasy mod itself, not the minis. The creator of that mod did an update yesterday to address that.

Hi, I seem to have broken something and don't know how. Added the minis here (which I love), but now the scenario spawns enemies with the same identifying number (5 guards, all are guard #1, for example), and when I drag new enemies out of the icon, they're also the same number. I'm guessing this has already been solved and I just can't find the answer - any chance someone can point me to the solution please?

Hello, I am the owner of the Custom Content Guild Discord server, in association with the Gloomhaven subreddit. I was wondering if, once you're finished with the base game summons, if you'd be willing to consider making summons for the released custom class mods? :)

From the May 6 update notes:
Third Note:
It is very easy to add HP/Move/Attack/Range to these summons if you get the corresponding card enhanced. First step: SAVE YOUR GAME! After you have SAVED YOUR GAME, all you have to do is right click on the miniature, go to "Scripting" , "Scripting Editor", then at the top make sure you have selected "Lua". The first few lines of code have HP, max HP, range, attack, move - etc. Just change that value to the new +1 value, then at the top right hit "Save and Play". Since you saved your game like I told you before you did any modifications, it will immediately reload and should have the new value. (HP is easier, just click the HP bar and use the right/left arrows to change the max).

In Gloomhaven Fantasy Setup up, I went to "Options / Lighting" and changed the Ambient setting to "Background" from "Gradient" and moved the LUT Contribution slider all the way to the left, and it greatly improved the detail in these standees.

IIRC you can mess around with the shader settings to make them look better. The Fantasy Setup mod has default settings that make them look terrible - you just need to mess around with the settings until it all looks "good enough".

The preview image here looks far more detailed than my TTS, especially with regards to shading. Is there a setting I am missing somewhere? I'm on maxed out graphics options.

@Serpent @Shammy I've done some testing, and this can be fixed by re-adding the assets to the object's local "Custom UI Assets". I found if I just added 1-2 of the broken assets, it fixed all of them (somehow). You can just directly copy them from the the assets stored in "Global"& "Custom UI Assets". Hope this helps!

@shammy - this is an issue because the custom ui elements are not incorporated into the fantasy setup mod. When this happens, just copy and paste the summon figurine in question and then delete the old one. Should work.

So when I additive load this in and set it up properly it works great, but if I save a game of Gloomhaven with these minis in they sometimes break. Break as in the icons around their HP bar don't show up anymore, just the numbers. All I see are white blocks.

I've just done some log and forums digging. It looks like the same issue that popped up for others using tabletop sim, namely the paste.ee links identified as phishing attempts - very likely a false positive. After turning my AV on and off now things are back to normal, no warning, no error messages, and I've got the falcon models again. Thanks again for your work, I was really worried I'd have to drop this addon. Summoning is so much better with them. :)

The falcons are in the bag for me - I just loaded it directly and checked. I imagine you can't see the models due to the error you're getting.

Hi. Amazing mod, thank you a lot.
I've got one problem however, I'm getting the same error and alert as ppl mentioned below, namely a trojan warning and "WWW Model Error: Unable to complete SSL connection" message, when trying to pull out diviner's ghost falcons. Also the models are missing.

You don't have to use the cards, they are just included for reference. Sorry about the enhancement stickers on that one - I had bought them and copied the same card over. Just use the summons themselves, not the cards.

Uhm after reading this question, I have another? Is it mandatory to use these cards? I was thinking on just using the base ones from the main module, which is the difference? Do you need to use the ones here?

This set is really cool. I just started Circles class, so very handy. However the card for Wild Animation has two enhancements on it when you take it out... Is there any way to correct that?

Yeah you're very close - just grab the bag once it's expanded and drag it into fantasy setup and let go - it should spawn in your game when you do that.

Also noob question (sorry). When in instructions you say "save the bag to fantasy setup", what should I do exactly? First I open Fantasy Setup mode of GH, and then I open your mod like load, like expand, and then should I save as an object or what should I exactly do? Thanks, first time using TTS.

@smakemupagus: I'm probably not going to make a new model for that summon - If someone finds one that would replace it let me know. For now, just use the +/- buttons on your keyboard while hovering over the summon to increase/decrease the size to your liking - this works for any item in TTS and is very helpful FYI.

@Valmar: yup this happens to me also everytime if they are left out. Just copy and past them and it should reset to be updates (ctrl + c / ctrl + v - works for pretty much anything in TTS and is really easy). Then you can hit the "+" symbol to update it.

Amazing mod! Question, after extracting some minis and looking at them (and hitting "+" so they update stats, initiative order, etc), I leave the game. After loading the game again, the minis doesn't show the images or stats of life, damage, etc, there are blanket white squares and pressing "+" again didnt work. How do I fix it? Thanks

Wow, I wish I had found this before I played the Circles class!!! Subscribed now for our other team members.
One request would be change the icon for the UI pawn, it's really hard to see the black +/- button at the bottom, I didn't know what "+" button the instructions were referring to and it comes out of the bag facing away from you.

The War Hawk's wingspan is so huge! Maybe he could be in a standing pose rather than midflight so he fits better in a hex?

@Serpent, that is correct, it appears to be an issue with either the model or the mesh for those two summons.

You would just have to copy/paste the entire lua and UI from the scripting windows to the item you want to use.

Can you clarify for me, you are getting bugs with the Monstrous Rat and the Rat King summons? But not the new Rat Swarm summon?

I'm also running into issues with the models for Mindthief with the 'possible trojan error'. It's affecting each summon that isn't the original 'Swarm'. Would you be able to tell me what link would need altering to make a 'paper' standee with the same info above it?

Pretty sure it needs to be on the table for the game to recognize the files, not just inside something. I usually just put it back behind the box where no one can see it without going out of their way

These have to be loaded into the fantasy setup mod, then they will show Up when you hit the plus sign at full health

I also got a Trojan alert from this too. Seems to happen anytime I pick up the rat swarm. Then it says "WWW Model Error: Unable to complete SSL connection." Is it trying to pull the rat swarm model from an external website?

I've put some other models in and transferred your scripts over - the animated wolf that comes with TTS for a shadow wolfs, a bullet bill for a living bomb, and an unclean one from warhammer for the slime. Its great!

Yeah see the scripting thing was a my first thought but for some reason i can't hit the "save and play button" it's just... non-interactable
