@Big Pig I'm not opposed to it and you don't have to add me as a contributor. In fact, I support the idea just because it allows players to determine separate settings for each save file rather than one setting for all.

Hello, I am currently working on adding a new building called "castellan's office" , that will largely provide the same functionality as your mod, except where the tax rates and defense tower activation/deactivation is determined by whether a particular settlement has a castellan's office, and what the settings are set to for that particular building. Please let me know if you would like to be listed as a contributor on this. If not, i will deplagarize your code, but will be using it as a good reference :)

I will consider adding auto-recruitment, but no guarantees on when exactly because I also have other stuff to do.

If I recall correctly, the priority is already ogres first, then dragon, then vikings, but I'm not sure when target switching occurs, so I can look into that for you too.

And can it let you select priority targets ( ogres first, dragons next, vikings last) or something like that because i hate when my towers are shooting vikings and an ogre destroys them

im definitely going to get this mod if you add AI soldiers o thanks. will it also send soldiers who are on ships and if so, if you have the archers fire on ships mod like i do, will they fire at the vikings? i hope so :)

maybe it should also send an appropriate amount of soldiers(if you have any) to meet them and recuperate them after an invasion is over, too? and, if your fire brigades are closed, open them in case of a fire? just a few suggestions

What feature doesn't work? Do you have a chamber of war? Do you meet the conditions for hazard pay activation? Do you have archer and ballista towers? Did you close individual archer and ballista towers?

@Bonegrinder I don't currently support the cannon and cauldron mod, but that's something I will consider for the next release.

Do you have Zat's ModMenu? It is set to 30% by default and you need to change it in the settings.

Not sure if this is the right mod to post this on, but...

Hazard Pay doesn't activate closed towers, if they are a custom mod tower. So, the cannon mod and the cauldron mod, are not opened by Hazard pay.

Otherwise v1.2 works like a charm. However, when hazard pay does activate, with your higher taxes mod, it doesn't raise to 50%. It gets to 30% only.

@♛Triple.G♛ A tower will open/close automatically only if it was closed before an invasion. It it was open before, then the mod does nothing to it.

In other words, keep all your towers open and the mod will leave them alone.

@Bonegrinder I'm debugging an issue with hazard pay activation right now, and your issue might be related to it.

Max tax rate is 30% and it can't go any higher than that, so the mod is doing as it should.

is there a way to disable the auto hiring function, like i dont want archer towers and balistas to close and open automatically since the skill of my soldiers will decrease and i want highly skilled soldiers

Word of note: The hazard pay only seems to activate if vikings appear. I had all the conditions met, and a dragon flying over the city and hazard pay would not activate automatically. But the moment vikings invaded, hazard pay activated automatically.

Note also, that hazard pay from this mod doesn't maximum tax rates. I had a very happy population, and so was taxing normally at 30%, and when hazard pay came online, it was still 30%.
