I can take a look re: crossing at the ends of the platform, but I think the issue might be that the pathways for the platforms are just close enough together because of the width of the tracks that the game can find a path between the nodes at the ends, sort of like how you can have a vanilla paved path near a road with a sidewalk and pedestrians will find their way between them. I'm not sure if there's much I can do about that (or frankly, if I actually know enough about asset creation to fix it), but if any asset creator has suggestions I'd gladly hear them!
Here's some of the work I've done with it so far: https://imgur.com/a/t8Lvx3F
It fits really well in any area of a city that looks like outer London :)
All that said, I'm working on another one that's giving me a bit more trouble, but I've managed to do a better job cleaning up the model so that it only needs two parts. Hopefully that'll help the file size.
@melbchef2 I wasn't planning on making this into a train version just because I'm focusing on the new vanilla metro updates, but I'll end up working on some train stations as well I'm sure.
I have been planning on using this set of houses with an above ground metro as part of more...touristy but yet cozy elite?

I have been playing with roads and colors to try and make it better blend with the whole area as I still am trying to get it as I envision it if you will. I will get it to mesh. It will just take me a minute :)
Keeping this one by my hospital: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2093716535
I want to replace this one. It is my power/waste/services area

I am thinking of replacing the Harbor but the bus station is staying.

(also I have a couple of actual ground level metro stations that don't require MOM in the works, hopefully one of those will be up in a few days?!)
I just the day before had been looking for an above ground metro that DID NOT require MOM. I couldn't believe I couldn't find one since it is now part of the base game now.... I have no desire to get a whole mod just to have one :) It doesn't exactly fit my city style but I honestly don't care at this point :p LOL It is beautiful nonetheless and I now have it in my game in use and it works wonderfully. I actually leveled to ground level for my particular use which now it just looks like it has taller doors but not in a bad way.
I hope more take to your example and please keep up the good work!!
@hemeac thank you, and I actually tried dialling back the brightness using the same textures for another station I'm working on, and I see exactly what you mean. I was hesitant to turn down the brightness at all because I find a lot of the themes I like have beautiful colours but are just way too dark and I end up having to use relight to turn the brightness back up again, but changing it in blender wasn't as drastic as I thought it was!
