Would you consider making a Canadian version of this and your other RR crossing packs, either as a separate pack or in the same packs? It would basically be a matter of changing the cross texture to plain white with a red outline.

Should probably add this to the mod description. I had no clue how to change from the default ones until I read this.

Another thought on the offset thing, would it be possible to make a couple of crossing signals that suit those roads? I'm sure a ton of people use them and have the same problem I do. I imagine it would just be taking the ones you already have and changing a line of code to widen the spacing. ie the 2 lane standard city road has a sidewalk, and is the same dimensions as east pavilioners 4 lane road without sidewalk. So therefore would not the spacing for a standard 4 lane with sidewalk work for the 4 lane without? just moving the spacing outwards 1 lane width each. Maybe I'm wrong but that's what I'm picturing....

@Savegame7 - I believe there has been an invisible crossing released recently on the Workshop. As far as an offset function - I don't think that's possible and I would have no idea how to implement it if it was. Sorry.

A side note, I use East Pavillioners Roads too (attributes to a lot of previous issue, but not always) and anything with no wide sidewalk is awful at a crossing. is there a way to add an offset function? so we can slide them outwards for wider streets? just a thought

Hi I absolutely love your signls I use them on all my maps. I have an odd request and that is if possible can we get an invisible crossing or no crossing? I have places in cities all the time and crossings are just not placing correctly for my liking. I'd rather have no visible sign or barriers at all in these locations. some rural tracks and roads could benefit too by having no sign etc

@DeBones - Okay, I think I understand now. As far as the older crossings, I didn't have any plans to change the flash rate on these. These lights (at least where I grew up...back in the 70's) didn't flash as quickly as they do today. But I always appreciate your input. Take care.

@modelcitizen To clarify the flashing lights work fine. But for realistic specifications, the light at the far end on the gate stays lit, not flashing at all while the all other lights do flash. I know with the large gate, it's impossible to implement it as it's 4 lights on the gate.

I'm realizing that the large gate is just an extension of the medium gate so my latest suggestion is probably pointless.

But in regards to the old crossing signals, I'm not sure if you where going to update that to also have a faster flashing rate to match the modern signals flashing rate as it is now.

I thought of a new solution for the gate lights on the far end of the gates, light 1 and 2 timestamps could both be placed on that specific gate light on both the medium and extra large crossing setups.

(Btw, the old crossing signals still haven't been updated, but don't stress it. These are just my final suggestions)

@ DeBones - Thanks for bringing this to my attention. The traffic shouldn't wait so long now. I'll try to get the other crossings done soon. I did experiment with the flashers but the animation is working so well, I hate to tinker with it. I know it's not prototypical for 2021, but it was for 1975. :)

The new game update now gives a warrant for this mod as well as the other 2 US crossing signal mods an update. Cars are waiting too long after the gates have rose. Possibly now, we can increase the flasher rate on the signals to 60fpm like irl and keep them on until the gates are fully reset (basically my last suggestion). All up to you.

To specify my last suggestion, the extra signals should only apply on the city sets of signals.

I would also like to suggest that there should be a gateless signal on the left side of the large and extra large roads. When it comes to wide railroad crossings realistically, there would be a gateless mast for pedestrians on the farside. So instead of just 2 signals for large roads and 4 for extra large, there should be 4 for large and 6 for extra large roads. Again, the extra 2 would be gateless, unless you'd like to add quadrant gates. This and the retro version are my favorite mods. Well done! I'd also like my previous comment in an update but I'll leave it up to you. I can't mod with my potato laptop.

Is there a way in the script to increase the flasher rate? I also want to keep the flashers on until the gates are full up.
