First of all, great mod! I love the artillery and archers that can now support the hordes of undead marching on through the lands!

Quick question alongside that, the building chain has a [HIDDEN] icon description with a white square, is that intended so the AI doesn't go bonkers over it? Or can that be a bug that occurs because I placed your mod in the loading order at a spot that messes up other mods?

Anyway sorry for the rant and thanks again for your hard work! Cheers mate!

No worries. Best way to test if mods crash your game - especially once you get a few hundred of them installed like some of us have - 1). read comments on the mod page to see if others have reported an issue and 2). load the mod and boot up the game. If it crashes, you know.

Sorry for the somewhat harsh reply. A lot of people spamming mod pages requesting updates when they're not required.

Thanks for the reply, I actually just bought the game like a week ago, this is one of the first mods I've installed none of the others said they were out of date, and so to avoid crashing or messing up a save I just never actually tried it lol. Sorry and thanks for letting me know.

Works fine. Unless you can reference a specific bug, don't post 'update plz' just because the CA mod manager throws an 'alarm symbol'. All the symbol means is the mod was uploaded in a previous patch. It doesn't mean it's a broken mod or will crash your game. Don't be a lemming.

@Mr CanEHdian I'll likely have to update this for the silence and the fury. Once that is done, I'll try to add functionality as, I don't know - is the answer to your question... :3x.

I'm generally crap and don't know how to mod much. I don't think it is overpowered though. The archers are trash tier and the artillery is still artillery (run-up, *smack*, done).

Do you think this makes the VC overpowered? I want artillery for them but don't want to be to OP. Also will the AI use this?

Seeing as you're the only one reporting this issue, It is most likely another one of your mods causing you to crash. If it is my mod, it will be a compatibility issue. If you can find the mod which you're using which is causing your crash, I'll maybe have a look.

my isssue is that when i go to custom battle to make sure units spawn with out any crashes since i have lots of mods, but the units dont show up to test them at all.

Thank you for upgrade mod, but I felt that Skeleton Archers isn't great vs high level doomstack, due no ap, weak, even thought all upgraded and Lord's red buff is petty good for ammo, but not so much damage and counter to other high level powerful range. Skeleton Archers should be harder to killed since not had a flesh vs arrow or bullet, but I guess weaker power, hmmm. It's would be fun and funny to had skeleton gunner or musket with AP spear or something like that. Similar to Vampire's coast gummy, but in nice and order of rank and it's skeleton.

Updated.

I've increased the recruitment cost of the soul and corpse trebuchet, to try and balance out the situation where they'd become free after unlocking 'Defilers of the Ancient Barrows'.

I thought by making all the units require additional buildings before being able to recruit them would be enough to balance them out, but apparently not.

I've only tested loading the mod and recruiting them in the campaign. If you run into any issue, please let me know.

Balancing the Artillery Ideas: Not sure if I can make them have upkeep just because of how the game recognises them (and i'm generally shit). What would you think If I just increased the initial price? Expensive upfront, but then free.

I really enjoy your mod, one thing i might ask if you did try to add the new units to the pool of resurrectable units?
I installed a global recruitment mod to get more trebuches in the field but would be nice to include them into the resurrectable pool.

Update: Just added a new trebuchet and tweaked some things for balance: different building requirements/ changed some stats.

Changes:
The corpse bomb trebuchet now requires a necromancer tower lvl 1 to build. Also, The CB trebuchet is now more of an anti-infantry piece which also adds the poison debuff effect to enemy units hit, as well as no longer doing magical damage.

The new trebuchet launches magical bolts (similar to Gaze of Negash missiles) as well as inflicting a leadership debuff to hit enemy units (-8 leadership, I think).

Sorry for any inconveniences this update might cause for on-going saves.

actually went back and found the key was the same for 2 and 3 or i moved 3 up a number and then it started showing up correctly at both stages

looked at original mod and deleted out first entry for mortar team under building allow and now it's showing them recruitable.

Try reinstalling the mod. Someone else pointed out this bug the other day and I patched it. Out of all the different versions I've made of this mod, this is the one I actually use and it works for me.

There's a bug which makes it when I upgrade the Mausoleum to T3 I can no longer recruit the undead bombardiers anymore. I can recruit the Undead Canonners still though.
