Massive mining

I have noticed a problem with these assets related to the export process. I think it lowers production in both the mine and the processing plant. I have tested this on a few maps now, and eventually, the export section becomes a static number, reducing production in the mine to around 10-15% and in the processing plant to 5-25%. I have multiple storage and export options for ships, so there is no break in production, as I have max power, water, and waste taken care of. There is nothing stopping the max production of both buildings except this export static number. When I clear the export storage, it jumps from around 450 tonnes in the mine to the max 6300, reaching 100% productivity for a moment. Then the export number stops moving to a static number, and productivity drops again. This happens with both the mine and the processing plant. Is there a fix for this?

It is not possible to remove waste using an internal railway station(

Give us a heavy duty conveyor connection, it's a pain in the ass using transfer engines because you have to space the mine and the processor plant far enough apart to get the engines connected to the main road network so it can get maintained

Great job thank you very much :))

>be real cool if there was oil, uranium and bauxite buildings too
I would also request such a buildings :)

also for me with low speed of mining/processing helped adding fast (modded) conveyer engine between building and storage - despite low range. But it also sometimes fails and export keep being stucked at some low value such a 0,4t, and dropping that little many many times helps somehow - same moment you drops little bit of stucked material productivity goes from ~15 to 80-100% :) After many many drops works well for a while :)

Take a coal mine as an example, when the amount of coal ore stored inside the mine is close to zero (meaning only a few tenths of a ton) and no longer changes (no longer changes because sufficient conveyor belts carry the newly produced coal ore away immediately), the production capacity will plummet to a few hundred tons, it should have thousands of tons, I don't know why
Tomori 27 Mar, 2024 @ 6:57am
I also had a problem with low production
Thomas Fernandez Lopez 8 Aug, 2023 @ 12:20pm
After the current update it does not work anymore. Maximum production is 150-200 tons..... i have no idea why.

Можно сделать склад такой-же длины но с двумя путями для поездов ?

Would be possible to make those HD conveyor towers with just pedestrian road connection? instead a normal road? that would help A LOT:)
Joollost 9 Aug, 2022 @ 11:57am
Never mind tested it, it is the new towers that are doing the work
Joollost 9 Aug, 2022 @ 11:52am
Since the conveyor belts are visually identical to vanilla, I want to ask is the capacity difference comes exclusively from the modded towers? Does manually added conveyor connections (i.e. after towers have been placed down) still have the extra capacity, or only the auto generated connections benefit from this?
BTW great work

@kolokommouna I've been unable to replicate your issue. Whenever I use one of the mines it is able to reach full production capacity. Could you please describe in detail when this drop of production occurs.
kolokommouna 21 Feb, 2022 @ 9:14am
is this ever gonna get updated, cause an update lowered ore mining from 6300 to 4 tonnes
vitalianos.za 14 Oct, 2021 @ 4:17am
Спасибо автор. А можно тоже самое но под большие объемы урановой руды. Примерно на 6000т сырой руды.

This mod looks pretty amazing and I look forward to it being expanded (even if its a separate thing) to the other mineable resources.
Nivalis664 21 Apr, 2021 @ 2:29pm
After using this mod for a few days I've noticed some things.
First, the Gigantic Storage construction does not require any concrete. For foundations at least there should be some involved.
The input with the Storage is also too high and it above where the conveyors are drawn to reach. Since it is so high, the base of the conveyors graphically are a bit off.
Balancing with the mine as well would likely require more concrete since the wimpy vanilla one already requires more.
These are massive projects and it would be understandable for them to be incredibly expensive as you have them.

OTHERWISE! GOOD JOB!

Thank you sooo much! This will be my standard for aggregate stockpiles... Really, truly, THANK YOU! There are not many/any mass aggregate storage options out there. Really fills a gap for storage that used to be filled with confusing messes and banks of the smaller facilities...

Mass production upgrade authorized

great to hear that ^^

@Light_DelaBlue im considering creating seperate mod with aluminium and uranium industries but at the moment I'm taking care of some other stuff.
Light-DelaBlue 15 Feb, 2021 @ 12:55am
your going to add other stuf? like bauxite uranium ect?
Kapik1081  [author] 12 Jan, 2021 @ 5:21am
Little update, I have added variant of conveyor towers with road placed perpendicularly like bram.warrick suggested. Also I have fixed problems with conveyors and mipmaps that were mentioned in earlier comments.
bram.warrick 10 Jan, 2021 @ 1:17pm
First, I'd like to thank you for this mod. It's right in the middle of my play style where I love to "master/giga plan" a specialized area (or die trying). Add in a map that's consistent with that style, and viola - hours of fun.

I do have a favor to ask. Can we get an additional variant of the conveyor towers, where the road is turned 90 degrees? I'm running into frequent issues with the conveyor support beams/roads clashing. This is most impactful when linking between the mine > storage > processing > storage > consumption (e.g. Coal Plant).

The buildings just CRANK out resources and I'd like to convey as much as I can. Trains will be part of this... but I want to use as much as I can before exporting. I'm currently exceeding my ability to convey because I can't easily use all the openings.

It would be nice if you think about massive quarring
The Mustachioed Marxist 10 Nov, 2020 @ 4:59am
I'm amazed at the level of thought and care put into making this. Just the storage for example - you have a crane type structure to distribute the aggregates to the storage pile, and then a scoop recovery vehicle to return the material to the conveyor for outgoing material. Just as it would work and appear in the real world. It really is very well done. Bravo, comrade.
Wiglaf 8 Nov, 2020 @ 4:36am
Game changer! No more frustrating blobs of coal processors taking up half the map :D
Great stuff
Nyxyx 29 Oct, 2020 @ 5:59pm
Hey this is pretty good, but don't forget to mipmap your textures to prevent weird visual effects!
wseslaw 21 Oct, 2020 @ 11:07am
It looks like I have foud a solution - just add this string:
$STORAGE RESOURCE_TRANSPORT_GRAVEL 1.0
wseslaw 21 Oct, 2020 @ 10:55am
I build a chain with two conveyor towers in a row. It doesn't work. If I change conveyor tower with another type (default conveyor) it works well. What's th problem with that?
Kapik1081  [author] 2 Oct, 2020 @ 1:31pm
@AseaHeru The conveyors are kinda iffy when you try to place roads after you have placed conveyor belts. If you place roads first you can pack these conveyors extremly tigthly. I'l make variants of these conveyors with road connections placed further away.
AseaHeru 29 Sep, 2020 @ 1:17pm
I am having all sorts of problems with the conveyors, mostly in the form of actually connecting them to roads, as most of the time the roads are too close to conveyor pillars. Would it be possible to shift them slightly farther out at some stage?
Lancer-2201 25 Sep, 2020 @ 7:02am
@Kapik1081 That's great! Thanks for the fix, I really like the fact that I can store vast amounts of coal and ore now.
Kapik1081  [author] 24 Sep, 2020 @ 1:01pm
@LAncer-2201 @ru_skiff Hey, I found the most likely culprit behind the crashes, one of the conveyor inputs on the processing plants was doubled. It did not cause my game to crash but its only error I found. For update to take effect you'll need to rebuild the buildings. Sorry for screwing up testing.
Lancer-2201 22 Sep, 2020 @ 11:26am
I too have the crash problem when I connect conveyors to the building. The storage can even be empty.
Kapik1081  [author] 20 Sep, 2020 @ 10:47am
@ru_skif i'll check what can be cause for this as fast as i can
ru_skif 18 Sep, 2020 @ 1:10pm
It has been experimentally established that the game crashes when the first batch of resources is supplied to production.
Until the pipeline not connected, the game does not crash.
ru_skif 18 Sep, 2020 @ 9:14am
Hi!
The game will crash after completing iron or coal production on the next date change. What could be the reason?
DoXeB 16 Sep, 2020 @ 12:48pm
Wonderfull Idea. Thx
