H2 generators probably are eating the ice to charge the batteries. Make sure they're off.

I mostly build the ship in survival alone (with the projector). It's my first time after my own crappy vessel. However, I don't understand the power system for the engines. I keep putting ice into the storage and it evaporates somewhere. But the tanks don't fill up and the thrusters stay cold. Any suggestion as to why? I disable all thrusters but the h2 and o2 tanks still remain empty

I can't seem to get this to fly, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have a feeling it's industrial overhaul but I'm not sure.

Just land on something? It'll connect, it's just inset to make it look nicer. It doesn't extend at all.

@CathodeSunshine It's very old and not really maintained, but I'm glad you can find some use! The wheels: They are the lightest object that doesn't transmit deformation damage. If the outer block is damaged, if there was another armor block behind it, damaging the outside armor block would deform it, and the deformation "passes along" to armor blocks deeper inside, but not through nondeformable blocks like wheels, batteries, blast doors, etc.

A hit to the armor could transmit deformation damage "back", and if there was armor in front of the welder the block could deform and damage the welder, for example.

Hi there! I've been breaking down beautiful this ship in an attempt to learn from it and I'm very curious as to the reason that there are 1x1 wheels inside certain parts of the interior. Could you help me understand their purpose?

I realized some of the hot bars commands were missing. Thankfully you’ve got your hotbar setup guide laid out! Working me way through it. The projector repair blueprint is very handy! I started looking at the projector because my Bastet was hit by meteor shower! LoL

The black 2x1 slopes in front of the hydrogen engines right next to the assembler speed modules are PBs in the DLC version. Again, I strongly recommend you paste in the DLC version in creative and take a look. It'll paste fine, just be missing the DLC blocks. :)

I found the 2 white blocks right beside the top ladder rung at the back of the ship. May I know the other 2 locations for your PBs? :)

I don't think so? there should be room in the back though, replace a white armor block under the catwalks on either side of the ladder down in the rear with a PB - that's how it works in the DLC version, I just pulled out the PBs here. No problem on the questions! I love talking about my designs.

Yeah, the DLC version is fine to try out in creative! You just won't be able to paste in a bunch of the blocks. I'd just suggest you try to set up Whip's airlock script yourself in the no DLC version: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=416932930

I see. As I do not have any dlc, should I still try the dlc version? Or should I try to implement in the no dlc version as I would like to use the scripts? I’ve only started playing less than a week so I’m still learning.

Thanks! The sensor is just for the vent in the airlock to turn it on/off to save power, they don't control the doors. I use Whip's script normally for the airlocks (see the DLC version).

You don't. Hydrogen is the best thrust/mass ratio in the game and is amazingly good, there's no reason to use anything else. Set up a bit of infrastructure to refuel easily (automatic ice processing on planets) and you'll never need to worry about fuel. Nothing else is as good, and using ions would defeat the purpose of being able to build this early-game without platinum.

Hi deeply love the ship and a good look to it but how would one turn this so not all the thrusters run off ice ?
