Range needs to be lowered by like 200 at the minimum (maybe higher range on the frost idol), the spells should be single use and the ammo replenish spell should cost more HP and have a limited amount of uses. 30% every 45 seconds is nuts. Maybe make it 30% every 90 seconds, max uses of 3.
Frost Idol needs to only shoot one projectile and maybe less damage, and should also get nerfed in melee. It's still almost as good as the normal idol, and you can get 1k kills easily with its ranged attack. Idk why the aura is mapwide either.
Sandstone idols vortex spell is way too big for the amount of damage it deals.
Magma Idol actually looked a bit weak in comparison, though I think it's fine for the cost.
Strenght-wise over a duration of a battle, an ice idol can decimate as many as 10 ikit bombs.
It's a bit odd.
When you know how you remove something, then give every idol some unique instead of only recolor it. So one have all decorations but no mask, the other only mask, the other few decoration and mask, etc. To keep them unique
Oh man this is too hilarious
I have finally learned how to "cut" things out from models. So I wanted to ask you ladz how to use this!
1 - Remove all the decorations ( grass, orc decorations )
2 - Remove heads / masks - Head can be removed and only pile of rocks can remain.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I will finally add more idols. Warpstone, Dung and Deep
Dung Idol - Made from shit and is able to explode ( like bloated corpse ) but can throw balls of shit at the enemy
Warpstone Idol - 1 Ammunition only - Big explosion
Deep Idol - small idol with close range projectile. Smol but fast and best to just stall enemy infantry.
I will also adjust stats and costs and tiers.
Right now it's basically just a straight upgrade over both the default Idol and Da Big Un, and I have to admit, I'm not really a fan of that. Since it's the same recruitment tier it should be more of a sidegrade than an upgrade and since the regular Idol is the only one that doesn't have a ranged attack, it should be the most lethal in melee.
I think it would make more sense for the Sandstone Idol to have ever-so slightly worse stats than your regular Idol across the board and in exchange give it blinding attacks to represent sand flying all over the place when it attacks.
I'd say 100-110 armour, 65 melee attack and around 550 weapon strength would still be plenty. In exchange it could get blinding attacks, higher speed and maybe higher melee defense.
But right now I teamed up with 99Kingcarl for Modding JAM. And we are making 2 Elven heroes. I am taking care of the base structure of the PAK and ideas. And CARL will take care of the skills for them.
Cant wait to present our creation to the JAM
Idol made from buildings and cobblestone needs to wait. I will be also changing stats of some idols. The Frost is now destroying units with 1 shot. So it will be less accurate. So now if it hits than entire unit is gone. But if it misses then you wasted your shot.
PS: I appreciate your kind words :P
Love your Vermintide mods BTW ;)
A savage ork idol for wurrzag would be dope just saying :D
